    Wow, I have to say that the front pin shot at 1:28 by Marc was extremely impressive. He dead bar the shit out of that one.

      I've watched it a dozen times frame by frame and I still can't figure it out! Care to explain the 'dead bar' reference?

    • @Klos1neMN
      @Klos1neMN 4 года назад +2

      @@monstertrucktennis Dead bar is when you put the goalie two rod all the way to one side on a Tornado table. In this position there's only a ball width of space for a shot to go around on that side. Hitting this is referred to as "dead bar". While it's a tough shot to make and is impressive there's an old saying that's like, "If you're aiming for dead bar your aiming for the wrong hole" meaning that there's an easier shot, you're just not seeing it, if that makes sense.

    Sad that the frame rate of the cam was not good enough :/

      Is that the reason why the game looks so fast? And I thought those guys CAN play that fast :P

      Front pin shot down the middle, he waited for Tony to move and then shot a small pull side spray.

    Was there a "No snakeshot" rule in addition to the challenge ? xD
    They're both amazing !

      Snake is not required to be a good player :)

    • @6lackLightning
      @6lackLightning 6 лет назад +2

      I use mostly pin shot, push shot and snake shot sometimes but Spredeman is known for is extreme snakeshot position thus my question ;)

    • @crtdavis
      @crtdavis 6 лет назад +3

      True but when its Tonys best shot it was odd for him to not shoot it unless it was to simply prove he is that good without it !!

    • @bdchis
      @bdchis 6 лет назад

      Tony didn't need it. His percentage on the 3 bar was probably even better than it normally is with a roller.

    All these years(decades) and Foosball tour still hasn't got proper big name sponsorship. Chess, Pool, Snooker, Darts, Bowling all have bigger payouts and better sponsors.
    ..Foosball tables are small, action happens very fast, and it is too difficult to capture to be properly televised. I have to slow the youtube video down to 1/2 speed to see what's going on.

  • @Drnardinov

    I had to check the playback speed on my youtube. I usually set it to 1.25 or 1.5 to watch stuff like news talk shows and after watching this game for a minute i thought i had it on hi speed. I tell ya tho, between Tony and ben Askren, cheeseheads are really dominating the world. Literally.

      Tony spielt seit 2017 bei Eintracht Frankfurt in der 1. Bundesliga. Alle Begegnungen werden an zwei Wochenenden im Jahr ausgetragen und bis jetzt war er zu diesen Terminen auch immer da. Ein weiterer Grund für seinen Aufenhalt war letztes Jahr die Weltmeisterschaft in Hamburg.

      Gatliffs 5-1 Chip ( to wall is Houston's vijay's?) that goes pull kick instantly... He tried twice early for similar passes but misexecuted. Barely.

    Eines der besten Spiele seit langer Zeit. Mal richtiges spielen, ohne den ganzen Snake Shot und Taktik Scheiß.

    • @KATABOLIST
      @KATABOLIST Год назад +1

      Jo, finde ich auch. Die Spiele auf Profiebene sind zu 99% identisch, passiert einfach nichts aufregendes. Schön mal wieder ein Spiel mit Schüssen aus der 5, Pull/Push-Shots zu sehen. Einzig Collignons Spiel war einzigartig anzusehen, der Mann kann einfach alles in unerreichter Perfektion und Präzision.

    You can tell that Tony can't stand someone else with a good shot and has to pull out that sloppy shit to overcompensate. And just to be an equal opportunity offender, does Marc have on white leggings ? ;-)

    Spredeman hat definitiv nicht Vollgas gegeben, das sollte jedem klar sein :-D Und ne 2-Punkte-Differenz zum Sieg war wohl nicht die Regel, oder wie?
