Very awesome woods and the tru-oil hand rubbed finish is just beautiful on these custom one of a kind guitars with their unique old vintage woods used for the top! To my ears the pickups sounded very articulate with great string to string detail and a definite higher quality hand wound pickup that sounds much better than traditional Fender telecaster pickups! Have you had a chance to play your Walla Walla Maverick with some higher gain to hear how the pickups sound! Great review of your new Maverick guitar from Walla Walla! It looks very old school and well built! Do you think the attention to detail on the overall build and fit an finish is worthy of the $3000 price tag! Best Regards, Mac Baker
Thanks for the comment Marcus. The graphics are original to the wood crates being used, so I guess it is either something you like or don't. I plan to do an update video after I have had time playing the guitar.
Just my opinions but I do respect they’ve been around for a while and you know it’s a wwgc guitar right away I appreciate that. I don’t live too far from Walla Walla I’ve been to the store it’s pretty cool. I guess I should say I appreciate and respect what they’re doing but I still think they’re very expensive for a tele clone but I suppose it is all hand made semi locally I don’t know for sure maybe the price is justified.
Yeah brutalbasspro was talking about the shape not the design. It’s identical but you’re paying for their unique designer touch to stand out from the other guitars I guess.

I’m not a fan of the top graphics they use. Also seems really really over priced for a tele knock off imo.
