    I made my own diy version, just to try it out. A piece of foil with duct tape backing, 1 x 1 ft (not as nice as a pillow). I checked for ground using a meter. It was grounded to a copper water pipe with wire. I placed it under where my back would lay and had a better rest that night than I have had in a while. I just thought I would share this. Thanks for your video.

    The Earth behaves like a gigantic electric circuit. Its electromagnetic field surrounds and protects all living things with a natural frequency pulsation of 7.83 hertz on average - the so-called “Schumann resonance,” named after physicist Dr. Winfried Otto Schumann, who predicted it mathematically in 1952

Please can you emphasise to Clint to make these videos really simple and clear to understand and follow. How long does the free flowing blood cells last after a grounding session? How many times per day should we be grounding? Thank you very much for all of your work.

    • @Earthing
      @Earthing  3 года назад

      Hello! Great question! The effects of grounding are cumulative. The more you ground, the more you reduce inflammation, and the longer you can then be ungrounded.
      For example, Clint can go for about a day without being grounded now because he's been grounded so much over the last two decades. Someone who hasn't been grounded often during his/her life will start to see the effects of inflammation return after an hour or so.
      Because your immune system is busy protecting you 24/7, it's ideal to be grounded all the time. Just being alive uses up electrons in many metabolic processes, including the basic process of cellular energy production. There is always an ongoing demand for electrons, which you receive from grounding.
      When you ground yourself on a routine basis, you are, in a sense, topping up your electron tank which maintains the electrical stability and health of your body. If you think about animals in the wild, they are grounded constantly and don't suffer from inflammation or any other chronic health conditions like we do.

    What I don't understand is, if grounding returns your body to it's natural state of health, why doesn't it last longer than a day +/-, and why do you need to ground so long each and every day, forever?

      Hi Rich,
      Yes, you can! You can either use one of our Coil Cords, which you can find here: www.earthing.com/collections/cords OR a Ground Rod which you can find here: www.earthing.com/products/ground-rod-with-40cord . If you use a Coil Cord, you would put one end in the plant's soil and other end in your grounded outlet. With the Ground Rod, you would put one end in your plant's soil and the other end in the ground. You just need to keep the soil in the pot moist to allow the conduction to happen.

    • @Earthing
      @Earthing  4 года назад

      Hi Patricia. We're so sorry to hear you're struggling with Lyme disease. We do recommend grounding, and yes, you can do it outside. When you have Lyme, you should ground for just small periods of times at first, and then gradually building up the amount of time you are grounded.
      Oftentimes when individuals with Lyme start grounding, they experience Herxheimer reactions because they ground for too long at once. A Herxheimer reaction is when you feel worse because bacterial die-off produces an inflammatory event. Fatigue, nausea, fever, and the resurgence of previously experienced Lyme symptoms may temporarily occur.
      Grounding increases your body’s ability to detoxify itself by cleaning out dead bacterial debris through your organs, such as Lyme spirochetes, and their resultant endotoxins.
      Detoxification can be impaired in patient's bodies who are dealing with Lyme, so there can be bottlenecks when the liver, kidneys, lymphatics, colon, or skin become overloaded. You can then experience detox symptoms including fatigue, joint or muscle pain, skin rashes, nausea, fever, sleep disturbances, irritability, headaches, and even the resurgence of previously experienced Lyme symptoms.
      Because of this, here's what we recommend:
      1. Start with just 5-10 minutes of grounding outside. If you experience any negative reactions, stop grounding immediately.
      2. If you feel fine after 5-10 minutes of grounding, keep going! Ground until you start to feel any negative symptoms.
      3. Gradually work your way up to 3 full hours of grounding during the day. Once you can comfortably do this, you're ready to try sleeping grounded. Sleeping grounded using an Earthing® Sleep Mat is very important because more time you spend grounded, the more alkaline your body will be, which makes an inhospitable state for the spirochetes to wreak havoc.
      By slowly and gradually increasing your grounded time, your body can detoxify more slowly. This prevents overloading your system with toxins.
      Many people with Lyme report that once they get through the Herxheimer reaction they experience pain reduction, headache reduction, better sleep, clearer thinking, a more alkaline body, a stronger immune system, and even an improvement in the secretion of heavy metals.

Clint is a gracious & knowledgeable human being going through the most difficult processes of explaining all of those scientific studies & presenting these with compassion to all. This is something that I have not seen so much on so many other topics presented. He doesn’t have to or need to give to us all of this scientific knowledge in addition to the usage of each product that we have an interest in. From watching several of his presentations I have learned above what I would have thought about to ask him myself.
