I guess they are running a sitewide promotion from 6.18 to 6.21, so during the promotion the affiliate coupons don't work. 🤔 But it seems that G5 has a good price now.
hi! did you have to replace plastic coffe cup at some point? i have been using my g5 for probably around 6-8 months now and it started cracking. i contacted hibrew and ordered a replacement cup and now after some time i also noticed some cracks at the bottom of the cup. i do not think i use it too vigorously tho, especially after replacing the first cup... btw, i have a somewhat different design - there is no brush or a place tu store brush like in yours, the silicon tray has no magnet (but looks like there is a space for it) and there is no visible magnet on the powder cup, tho there is one.
How does this compare to the Turin SK40/Itop 40S stepless grinders? These are about the same price in EU. Build quality seems to be much sturdier (less plastic) on the Turin/Itop ones?
My Hibrew G5 is not properly calibrated, it does not grind fine enough for espresso in a bottomless filter, and the after-sales service does not care, it does not pay attention to me
It's much more affordable than Eureka's grinders, so the build quality may not be as good, and G5 uses conical burrs instead of the flat burrs in Eureka, but it does the job, stepless adjustment, easy to dial in.
Its a good grinder that can grind beans down to espresso and Turkish size.. Only issue is the sticker with the grind sizes tends to come unglued. The only plastic is the bean hopper, the rest is metal including the cup.
Good silent and easy to use grinder, with 2 cons though: the burrs screw gets eventually loose so it must be tightened often, and the ground coffee hardly flows even if there's nothing inside blocking, so you have to push on the top to get the whole dose. I asked to the support team if there were burrs available as spare parts, but got no answer yet.
Yes, you need to push the bellows to get all the grinds out. Some grinds might stick to the burr because of static, but I haven't had problems with the burr screw yet.
Thank you for the very detailed review. One question, do you think it would work well with Aeropress? I have a manual grinder (1Zpresso Q2 heptagonal burrs) but I’d like to switch to an electric grinder. I still don’t have an espresso machine and Aeropress and electric brewer (Mokkamaster) is what I use the most.
I have a problem, When i set the grind finer then before, it still grind the same i don't get it , and i even put it on number 1 turkish coffee and it still the same and the espresso extracttion isn't that good and so fast, please help me solve this
I guess your finest setting now is not pointing at zero, so number 1 might be still too coarse. Maybe the burrs need recalibration, but I haven't tried it myself. You should contact the support team to see if they can provide a solution.
The coffee machine in this video is the HiBrew H10A, please check my review here. ruclips.net/video/TRnmcOWdHqA/видео.html I also made a few shorts about this machines.
Hi, depending on the seller, the description says 40mm and 48mm - for the same G5 grinder. Do you know where these differences come from? Just mistakes in the description, or are there two versions with different burrs? /edit: Same with the power - 165W or 180W... idk (:
I just measured the diameter of the outer burr. The bottom part is 40mm. The upper part should be larger, not sure if it is around 48mm, I can't measure it because the hopper gets in the way, but I think they only have one version.

Hi, I haven't tried the grinders you mentioned so I can't compare them.

Hi.. required to wet beans before grinde thanks.
Hello, does it worth to choose that due to the compact size and bargain price over eureka mignon(silenzio, specialitá etc.?)
It's much more affordable than Eureka's grinders, so the build quality may not be as good, and G5 uses conical burrs instead of the flat burrs in Eureka, but it does the job, stepless adjustment, easy to dial in.

If they upgrade the grind setting dial and the chute, it would be much better.

I like that when I grind 17grams of beans, 17grams of grind coffee comes out!!
My only issue was the sticker..
Good silent and easy to use grinder, with 2 cons though: the burrs screw gets eventually loose so it must be tightened often, and the ground coffee hardly flows even if there's nothing inside blocking, so you have to push on the top to get the whole dose.

simply, you are amazing .. very informative and easy review .. go ahead :)
Thanks!
Can you tell me the difference between g3 and g5

Sure, it will work for Aeropress. It's stepless, so you can find the right size for all brew methods.

Dark roasted or very old beans can also be the reasons

is it stepped or stepless?
Hi, it's stepless.
Turkish coffee is boliing the coffee? Why would anyone drink burnt coffee?
Not quite the most inspired name.
The grinder doesnt grind fine enough even at the lowest setting. No idea what to do. Not reccomended!
You probably need to de calibrate it I saw something like this on reddit
Ask the seller, I have one but it's different design below the rubber piece. I think there is an upgraded version
I definitely experiencing the same problem even with fresh beans. Can hardly get 9 bars. 😢
I also have the same problem
@@dyu4634 espresso can taste better at 6, 7, or 8 bars anyway depending on the bean.
