I'm a 90-year-old man and a grandfather. We know that our grandchildren love us but we also know they must live their own lives. To just dwell on us would be wrong. We want you to simply go for life. Angelina feels sad, and that's ok, but she doesn't need to feel guilt. By doing this piece publicly she shares her grief with the many who love her. Thanks for sharing this, Angelina, so we can soften your sadness and absorb some of your hurt.

I'm watching this as I thought of the memorial service we had for my aunt. I was crying for her and thinking of my aunt and I was singing this along with her. Also my prayers are with you and your family during this time of your loss.

Either that or they have had such a hard road that yhey just can not cry anymore. All of their lifetime's worth of tears has been spent. They are broken inside. A deep depression can make it impossible to cry at these situations as well.

Very natural and normal reaction. I don't know anyone who has watched this video without tearing up. The stamina and emotional strength it took for her to do this so shortly after her grandfather died is incredible. Much respect for her on this.

Angelina has been a beacon of joy for the whole world for over 8 years and it just tears at my soul to see her so sad, after all she has given to all of us. Far and away the most emotional song I've ever heard. I just wish there was something we could do to assuage her sorrow, maybe just a bit. btw, I'm a 69 yo combat vet, and she has been an inspiration to me as well as helping me get through some things from my past life and I feel soooo helpless that there's nothing I can do to help this Golden Child, this real and true Angel, our Angelina. God bless you, Angelina, and keep you close to His breast.

Angelina has a thousand grandpas out here, and all of us want to reach through the screen, wrap her up in a big hug, and tell her everything is all right. I think this sets Angelina's fans apart from other artists: we are a family, her extended family. We don't just love her singing, we love her.

The protectiveness we all feel for her comes from the authenticity of her emotions when she sings...it is a gift from her to all of us, and it's what distinguishes her from most other singers. Such an amazing girl. It was very difficult to watch her struggle with her own emotions & sense of loss in this performance...a person would have to be a stone to have not been affected by it. Don't fight the tears, I am a 65 year old man and I have to swallow a lump in my throat and wipe my eyes. The way I see it: Angelina shared her most intimate feelings with her family (her fans). She transfered the sadness in her soul to our souls. I was pained to see our Angelina in so much pain. This was a soulful and most beautiful performance.
