I think he is absolutely fantastic. Hes been dancing for years so to him its second nature. I think he does a great job explaining all that's important to be a great dancer. For me HE'S THE BEST!!!
AS WELL AS VERY HANDSOME! 💜💜

He's exactly the same as my teacher, funny, charismatic, a lot of knowledge but, still strict and really a perfectionist

Very interesting, great lecture with a lot to work with. Make perfect sense. To me a good dancer is not only perfect technique, great coreography and beauty but the charisma of the dancer that simply draws you in to look at that particular one.

I like the way you explain how to create the body action works with the timing/rhythm specially emphasizing the importance of slow and quick timing. Excellent Slavik, How about Samba.

Isn't it interesting how cha-cha changed from its original authentic Cuban version (where they step on bent knee) to cater the competitive field of dancing?

His english has improved so much!!! but it was a bit funny and awkward when he was making effort to make his lecture more entertaining. Excellent dancer he might be, but he still has lots to achieve to be a great teacher.

Can someone tell me why dancing on bent knees is now in fashion or allowed?

Suggestion, learn how to walk properly and what Slavik teaches about body action makes sense.See "How to Walk Properly with Dr. Todd Martin."

Do you think somebody in Cuba will move like this? This dance is an european invention. Cuban men dance like real men. this is too much and has nothing to do with the real Cha-cha-chá. you Guys have stolen it and then you Made something very ugly. sorry but it is the truth.

Yep, somehow, the 'judges' wanted the male dancer to start looking gay with too much hip action. Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly did not look like that.

This is a Ballroom interpretation of Latin Dance, ....Dance is an Art form, which is always going 2 evolve . If U want 2 stay in you box , That's fine, but don't hate on others who expand and take movement 2 another place.....All dances change...Hip Hop doesn't look the same like when I was a kid,... Swing dancers have taken it 2 the next level .....Most people think Latin Ballroom Cha Cha is beautiful ......U'r just mad cuz U can't do it.

You are correct to a certain point, but Cuban Dancing does not have "Good Technique". Ballet is the backbone to International and American Ballroom Dancing. Cuban Dancing should be dancing on the "Rumba or son Clave" But in International and American Ballroom Dancing the clave is ignored.

Why is he so negative here? Did somebody offended him before the class? He treats those kids with no respect. I generally like Slavik, but here he seemed to put on the wrong personality.
