When you look this Videos as a German you realize why top speed in cars seems not be interesting for car producers anymore :-)

Excellent. The ride sounds quite firm judging by the sound every time the car went over a bump or change in road service. Is it a harsh ride? Thanks

adaptive suspension with 21" wheels with almost no rubber can feel "harsh", but the suspension is smoothing it out prettty nicely and it snot a kart on wheels, its not harsh at all. If you compare it to cars with lots of siderubber (18-19" wheels) and standard suspension it can wheel stiff. IF you put the car on sport setting/move DCC to sport ye it will get stiff and harsh. As a sporty car should do.

    Furkan.

This is the last video with the ID.4 GTX.
There are some minor stuff coming with the GTX as basis, but that will happen a different time.
For now im looking back how the GTX videos went and take notes what could be better, different or dropping it because its not needed.
And being honest I will drop the DCR test, because its not adding much on consumption info. swapping the noise test in a single video will work and will be more to the point whats the video about.

I will always be on sport mode... actually I think I need a sport plus mode VW. ;). Thanks ID Furkan!

Im favoring to drop the DCR test and swap it to highway distance test with atleast charging. Give a thumbs up if you thinks so too
Route with charging? then i need atleast 400km.
Route with more then 1 charge session? 500km + Higher speed consumption 130+ kmh
Adding germany to the mix? looking at 600km and even more charge sessions.

How about passing Arnhem to Germany then drive A31 up and return via Groningen which makes it a 600 km round trip. Perfect length for 1 day drive, similar to going from Amsterdam to Berlin or from Berlin to Munich or from Munich to Dusseldorf or even Frankfurt to Paris.
Btw, no speed limit for Germany planned. ;-)

Its not that it didnt cross my mind to do that route (amsterdam - enschede - A31/Germany - Groningen - Lelystad- Amsterdam or Afsluitdijk - purmerend. both are 500km), but the question what always arise..
What is the goal of the ride?
      1. Be the fastest from A to B? Speaking with the ID.4, drive slower so you only need 1 charge to the 500km. So in theory you dont need germany at all
      2. What the consumption is after 500km? doesnt make sense, i do like my separate speed consumption values which gives more a clear view of each speed
      3. Go balls out where possible? This would make sense on this route. Limit the max speed to 160 kph in germany to make "comparison" between possible
I want 3, but the issue with 3 is.. the dutch speed limit time of 19h.. that would mean that i would back at home not before 01 am. bleh
Then there is 4. Do 3, but start earlier like 3 hour early so when arriving in groningen you can drive 130 back... and if it happen to be a workday that means rush hour. so only viable in the weekend. so no.
      5. balls out without limit.. start at the border 3-2-31-31 back-2-3 (433 km) [Baustelle STAU Q_Q]
      6. Always possible.. Tour de Dutch. 600 km ez. but only 100kph.
not really a clue which is the most sane way..
