This is a great example of how sweet and entertaining she is at a live show. Not only sings but interacts with the audience. I'm an old man and hope I get a chance to see her live one more time.
I love the reaction from the orchestra, when Aurora left the stage with her sock puppets! 😂🤣

Well, that was fun! I haven't seen that one in a while, and I forgot how good it is. 👍🤟
That performance of "Artemis" is extremely rare (might be the only one). It's one of my favorite songs from "The Gods We Can Touch" album. In the original, that violin part was played with a bandoneon (accordion-like instrument), but the violinist absolutely crushed it in this performance! I'm so glad she included it in this set.
You really need to check out the Vevo live performance of "Exhale Inhale" at some point. It's an absolute work of art! Arguably the best thing she's ever done in the live studio format.
oh, and how i love the bandoneon studio version... *sigh* and i still miss a propper 'this could be a dream' live version. one of the underrated songs.

@@tx0h Agreed, I love the original with the bandoneon, and I also agree with you about "This Could Be a Dream." I would add "The Innocent," but I get that it's somewhat polarizing, so you may not agree with that one.

With regards to the violinist solo, I saw that it almost took Aurora out of it as well, the ending of that was just too awesome.

This was a local gig for Aurora, as she was born in Stavanger hospital.
I didn’t get to record it, but she actually says since she was born here we are practically brothers and sisters 😆
And something about us not to mistake the brown stain on her dress for something else then chocolate 😂

Yes, English bit because some are not Norwegian. The first violinist Emily Davis (doing the solo bit in Artemis) is English for example :)

It might be your favorite version if "It Happened Quiet" SO FAR! 🙂
But there is a high chance it will not stay that way, if you ever see the version from Nidarosdomen (Nidaros Cathedral) OR probably the most loved version:
An incredible acoustic version with Silja on backup vocals and guitar called "Live at The Current". Silja is her backup singer from HAIK and KEXP.

As far as I can tell there is no automatic translation from Norwegian.... the "'story behind once Aurora", I have uploaded it (hidden) and tried to sub it.... I can, but manually.... it takes a lot of time... I think I used 30 minutes to sub 5! And i write touch so the typing speed is not the problem 😂.

But I was so mad at myself for not going to this concert, I knew it was going to be this good, I still did not go... I should have sent him the translation BEFORE he did it...
