Beautiful beautiful beautiful Zippo. I'm so proud of Zippo. 87 years on after the very first Zippo lighter and you got that one. Such a fine company ...
You ever notice the really old zippos (50's to 70's maybe?) have a slightly more rounded and sleet design, with less flat edges? I do like the aesthetic alot more
By the way owen from what i can see zippo just updated their commercial logo/brand loggo. The stamps used on the lighters will still have the older stamp we used from 1980 to present with the flame I and Z together
@@Pizzscn Hi, does the Copper Plating in the Antique Copper Patina ?, or does that Copper Plating just Wear down and the Brass underneath does the Patina ? When it wears down, is it just the Copper Texture just wears out and there is still smooth copper underneath or its the brass shows up ? thanks
Interesting discussion about collecting things that are only made to be collected. Makes that sense? Makes that happy? Is that an investment to earn money in the future? I don't think collecting these Zippo collectables is not an investment. They produce so much pieces. And most of the buyers will never use it. And some day they are on market to be sold to a lower price because the collectors do own it already.
@@miiigoreng I know I'm just joshing. I recently cleaned up and old imco 6800 which was clogged up with and old flint that had basically crumbled into gunk.
Collector: "It's so beautiful. I will never use it." Puts it back into the box (or showcase) to the other collectables. PS: I used to be a collector. Not of Zippo but other stuff. Some time I had fun, then it became like an addiction. I'm glad there is nothing I collect anymore. Isn't a bit senseless to buy things only for the reason to own it? Not to use it.
Thanks for sharing, Owen!
You’re welcome! I’m absolutely taken by this thing!!

I just ordered the zippo 2020 of the year and I can't wait to get it! Thanks for your video.
I live in Bradford. Almost every guy who smokes here has dozens and dozens of Zippos.
Haha. Makes sense. Everybody must have at least one friend working at Zippo. Or works there himself.
How many collectibles of the year have they made? 2012 to 2020 or something?
I love that Zippo😍

Nice video, beautiful lighter, thanks for sharing
Спасибо за подробный обзор. Теперь я хочу её ещё больше))) я накоплю и куплю её
I wish they had purple , purple epic or a purple and green combo ,
is the edges of your antique copper zippo worned out and its showing the brass ? please do an update
That hasn’t really happened yet. I’ll have to compare it to my last update on it and see if it’s worth doing an update

Very nice Zippo
Just ordered one ^^
Это прекрасная зажигалка. Я сегодня увидел её в магазине. Теперь я мечтаю о ней
very nice, but you don't have to use it, otherwise you risk ruining it. better to keep it in the box, while for daily use, you can use a chrome zippo.
Then wtf is the reason buying it man :)
@@ismethadzic Collecting I suppose.
@@CruelWorldVids1 I don't know man. It's not a butterfly or stamp or money. To me it's better collecting items with memories.

Congrats on having a nice tip for the collection!
I have bought this item at my zippo store
It'll be good to take out the flint. I always do that with mine
But then it won't work
@@Destructor8031 you do that when collecting it, not if you're gonna be using
@@miiigoreng but then it's not in it's original condition anymore as the original flint has been removed lol.
@@Destructor8031 OR would you rather the flints cause problems over the years? I've made videos addressing this matter.

It’s still on Amazon for 106 I’m fine with my 15 dollar one tho lol
No guarantee? Thats odd.
They all have lifetime guarantees.
