From a 30 year Third Reich headgear collector, you have a nicely displayed collection. Continue to study, invest in reference books, and later focus in on one area so you know it well. Best of luck!

Nice little collection. Your dress dagger is Army not rare but probably the most common that you see at any show.

The belt buckle is a Prussian M1847 pattern one.

@@Relicroomlex you said it was 1871 but it’s not. It’s the earlier pattern. I can give you a good link for German impiral buckles I have a m1895 one in my collection but wouldn’t mind a m1915 feldgrau one. I collect ww1 German so if you ever need info just check my channel and comment questions ect.

He was a jerk. You were right. You were wrong though to go on and do the same thing to him. Be the better man. It’s enough to stand up to him. Show him that you’re better than him.

I can´t read the first line because abbreviations (which I don´t know) are used, but the second line says: "in einer frz. [französischen] Kaserne in Rouen" which means "in a french casern(/barracks) in Rouen".
I just checked, Rouen/France is pretty close to the Normandie where DDay happened in June 1944.
