A quick tip, when enemies die you can tell the rarity of the items they drop by looking at the orange light, your looking blue aura around it and the light should a little bigger then others aswell
I think I cracked the code in this game when it comes to farming: you gotta use the enemies weaknesses against them and be a few levels lower. I farmed this for a while at 25 Morale and normally hitting the Terracotta Soldier. Got frustrated and decided to switch it up and use a Lightning Build and all of a sudden 5Stars started dropping. Dropped my Morale by a few points too.

I am running with 204 luck on my gear, I've been doing this for half an hour and I have not seen a single 5* item and maybe a dozen 4* items. And before you ask, yes I am playing on NG+. Oh and quick note, the big one does revive the little one too...
quick update. I bumped up my luck to around 240. After 1 hour of farming I got 1 five star item, around 20 four star and a ton of two and three star items, so either I am the most unlucky person in this game or this farm is nerfed...
DO NOT REST AT ANY FLAGS BEFORE YOU FARM THE GOLEMS. Your morale needs to be as low as possible (ideally 3, meaning you only rested at the one flag for this farm) to get the higher drop rate. I tried this with 25 morale and the drop rate for 5 stars was significantly lower. To fight the bosses, just use elixers and rest at the first flag over and over until you are morale 25, then run straight to the first boss duo and fight them at morale 25 with 2 companions. When your morale gets to around 14-15 from fighting the golems, just die to one of the nearby mobs that isn't one of the golems to reset your morale and start fighting them again.
I though everyone knew that lol you get better gear based on the difference between your morale and the enemies. That's why I was confused as to why he did the elixir. Unless they changed it in one of the patches.

Is that the Skyward Majesty bonus? I think someone said it gives a buff into every aspect but the amount buffed is negligible. Maybe it's better than he says but we'll have to try it
when looking at the armour/weapon in your inventory, you can press rt/r2 to switch to set details when on the set details tab you can press the back/select button to see what each bonus does.
Im sorry but anyone saying this doesnt work must be doing something wrong. If you have your luck above 200 u should be getting lots of drops. I was doing it with zero luck and was still getting 5 star drops. Make sure u hav master hammer equipped as well as ur range weapon with luck. If you dont have lighting build just dump 99 points into wood and u will be strong enough to two shot him with lightning bolt. Best of luck farming!

@Sam VE ive been doing it alot, u can get some dry spells sometimes but it still works, its super wierd that some people just arnt getting them, i dunno what the cause would be, do you hav yinglong as ur guardian spirit as well? Sorry man wish i could be more help
With Patch 1.05 I Think its impossible to beat monkeyfarm . Today i got 4 x 5star items with one Kill. I kill the monkey with 2 x ICE attack (when they hit properly). Its super fast no Setup needed . My Luck is at 221.
I farmed this for 2 hours straight and only got one 5 star bow and 2 random pieces of rank 5 armor and a boatload of 2-4 star trash loot. Did it with 224 Luck and A+ item drop chance (i had the divine beast that increases drop chance, smith's hammer as the on hand weapon and an additional b+ item drop rate on a trinket, those somehow stack to get you to A+ instead of just A). Anyhoo, for now the Ape is still dropping betrer gear. Maybe just bad RNG but man was this disapointing
@@floatingrage1554 i figured out how to make it worthwhile. Where op messed up is suggesting that people eat elixir before farming at the statue. The game gives you more drops and better loot when you kill things with higher morale then you, so 25 morale vs a 14 morale enemy is shooting yourself in the foot. This time, I used elixer at the beggining to make speed running the level super easy, ignored all of the flags and only grabbed the flag right before the farm, then intentionally died once to lower my morale back down to 3. Since low morale also means low damage, i compensated by putting 30 levels into fire so that I could use both damage buffs and the rest into wood. This combined with A+ item drop and 225 luck got me ten 5* weapons and twenty four 5* armor pieces in about 2 hours

Is this farm better than the gorilla one.. sure.. is it WAY better.. meh. This one’s about a C level farm gorilla is a D- Both take forever.. but if you were to do them both for 3 hours.. You’d probably get 10 to 20 more 5s than the gorilla one. Which seems like a lot.. but it really isn’t because alot or it is BS 5s you’d never use. Generally, usable 5s are rare regardless. You’d probably get 3 or 4 more usable 5s

Basically they're the end game armor sets. They give a unique buff it you gather 5 pieces of the same grace. For example if you gather the complete set of the grace of the white emperor, you will get the Subtlety of Metal virtue buff from the set bonus, there's also other bonuses relating to metal virtue like for example Damage to Enemies With Negative Effects. The Subtlety of Metal bonus gives you a damage increase and reduces the enemies damage and spirit regain or something like that permanently after deflecting a critical strike. There's a grace for each of the 5 virtues i think and there are a few others not related to the virtues. I hope this helps.

I only have 198 luck because I don't have a 5* evil toaist helmet, and decided to go a for more vertile dmg build I'm using a set mitigation crossbow w/ 3 pieces of the evil Taoist armor(sword,helmet, gloves) for elemental dmg bonus and damage amplification on wizardry spell, entertainer chest and pants for the luck bonus On all my gear I run lightning atk power, ice atk power, wizardry spell dmg, luck, wizardry spell spirt consumption For helmet I run power gain on wizardry spell instead of spirt consumption, but because I have it at 4* I can't fit luck This just allows me to switch between ice and lightning farming builds at the flag without having to go to the black Smith everytime, though I do lose a small ammount of dmg maybe 1% or 2% but it's fine, because versatility is a great Quality of life
You can save your battle set and switch to it anytime you want at a flag lol, it’s in battle preparation. You can have a battle set with 99 wood, and a battle set with 99 water or whatever want and switch anytime at a flag!!! It’s saves all your weapon perks you had on at the time you saved it too.

This is just as bad as the monkey farm except with the monkey farm I at least got 5 star gear..I've done this over 20 times and have 230 luck and A drop rate and haven't gotten a single piece of 5 star gear
@@mathiasrain1480 I wouldn't say ocassionally really, i average anything between 20-25 5⭐️ per hour. Also uploaded a video where I show my inventory after 2 hours of farming, got 44 5⭐️, six of them were ranged weapons.
Drop rates were not nerfed. Even 30 five star an hour is not reasonable. That is with full luck and A+ equipment drop rate. It is all RNG. Even with RNG, I would challenge you to upload a video of an hour of gameplay and the amount of five star drops you obtain.
Drop rate in this game is terrible. I'm thinking of uninstalling. The whole point of NG+ is to farm better gear. If better gear doesn't drop, there is no point going over the same content again and again. Team Ninja don't seem to be worried about it so I won't.
There is NO new game+ Otherwise there would be a new game+ available after completing the story, like every other game ever to of had new game+... What this game need is Hardcore mode. A properly done one that records your improper game exits AND has account bound rewards for reaching certain milestones that are unique and able to be utilized on your core characters

Drink your elixirs at first flag so the boss is really easy

Yeah I run this I just use Elixirs use haste run all the way to the sub boss beat them and push past the little area before you’re inside
Just use the elixers when you spawn into the game. Makes it MUCH harder to die and WAY easier overall

On all my gear I run lightning atk power, ice atk power, wizardry spell dmg, luck, wizardry spell spirt consumption
For helmet I run power gain on wizardry spell instead of spirt consumption, but because I have it at 4* I can't fit luck
This just allows me to switch between ice and lightning farming builds at the flag without having to go to the black Smith everytime, though I do lose a small ammount of dmg maybe 1% or 2% but it's fine, because versatility is a great Quality of life
This is very solid!
You can save your battle set and switch to it anytime you want at a flag lol, it’s in battle preparation. You can have a battle set with 99 wood, and a battle set with 99 water or whatever want and switch anytime at a flag!!! It’s saves all your weapon perks you had on at the time you saved it too.

This is just as bad as the monkey farm except with the monkey farm I at least got 5 star gear..I've done this over 20 times and have 230 luck and A drop rate and haven't gotten a single piece of 5 star gear

@@mathiasrain1480 I wouldn't say ocassionally really, i average anything between 20-25 5⭐️ per hour. Also uploaded a video where I show my inventory after 2 hours of farming, got 44 5⭐️, six of them were ranged weapons.
Also, you can kill 20 of them in about 4 minutes, ish. That's like quitting before even trying, it's still Rng bro.
@@Grimm1880 you are so lucky at that's all. That doesn't proof that everyone gets the same drop. For me it's worse spot to farm than monkey
Drop rates were not nerfed. Even 30 five star an hour is not reasonable. That is with full luck and A+ equipment drop rate. It is all RNG. Even with RNG, I would challenge you to upload a video of an hour of gameplay and the amount of five star drops you obtain.
This was nerfed after 1.08 patch. Go back to Monkey

Drop rate in this game is terrible. I'm thinking of uninstalling. The whole point of NG+ is to farm better gear. If better gear doesn't drop, there is no point going over the same content again and again. Team Ninja don't seem to be worried about it so I won't.

There is NO new game+
Otherwise there would be a new game+ available after completing the story, like every other game ever to of had new game+...
What this game need is Hardcore mode. A properly done one that records your improper game exits AND has account bound rewards for reaching certain milestones that are unique and able to be utilized on your core characters

20 runs no 5 star drops so I'd say your wrong. Plus I got 228 luck
