Striga + Stigma Diabolicum (adds a weak spot for crits) + Whisper (guarantee stun on elites) simply obliterates the whole camps, if you learn how to predict the trajectory of the stakes after firing it feels like literally playing on cheats, damage output is insane. Faithful in the castle is shredded by 4 accurate shots. PS Trivia: this weapon is probably a tribute to the Stakegun - a weapon from 2004 game Painkiller, directed by the same guy Adrian Chmielarz.
I think hailstorm's purpose is killing tower's prophet boss, because on clearing out locations this thing does not oneheadshot swordsmen by default! And yeah, ammo sucks too...
I completely agree with your list. I have found the same results. I have to try some other combination of gear to combine with them to see if there is any improvement in performance. But your description of their pros and con is right on. However, I would add that as long-range weapons they all don't have the proper range that a long-range weapon should have. As proof I would point out that the Hang fire has as good or even better range than some of these rifles. But with the recent buff, it now is useless even at close range. But that is just my personal opinion.
@@robominion1 i do believe the discrepancy with the range is that they are all different classes of rifle and honestly I didn't notice that until I made the video. Interesting point with hangfire.
what does lightning even do? I drop the iron cross, it does it's thing and the enemies happily move around, shoot at me, jump at me...I've read/heard elsewhere that fire makes enemies take more damage, ice is self explanatory...I expected lightning to stun them and shake them in place...I know this video is about guns but lightning is on some of those too and I wonder what is the benefit of it proliferating to other enemies?! If it does nothing than it just looks nice on the screen, and that can't be it.
It distributes damage among all affected enemies, if the lightning shocks 3 enemies and you deal 50 damage to the first one the 2nd and 3rd one also get 50 damage. Also it provides mild stun so all lightning-related gear is great at wiping out trash mobs
Great discussion, thank you! Commenting for the algorithm gods

Hypnosis is the Goat
When using Basilisk, do you have to scope at enemy all the time for the effect? Or glancing over enemies is enough to apply the debuff?
@@IsaacChoo88 glancing apply the burn for a short duration I believe

@@Ludak021 lightning does a few things, I believe it grants more stun power and if you crit a few times it does burst DMG.
