Who would've guessed that this small and (somewhat) cute critter would play an important role in their environment.
Well, we almost lost them and nearly saw the consequences for ourselves.
Of course, one of the worst environmental disasters caused by us took a severe toll on the population and even after years of work, we're still feeling the effects.
