Imported your LUTS into ON1 Photo Raw 2024 and they do not work easily, if at all. Cannot scan top to bottom using arrow keys. Start with default LUTs , you can move down from one to the other using your mouse but there will come a moment when the selection does not continue. During one session, selecting a LUTs threw the program into "not responding" and thus had to close it down and re-start. Look forward to your reply.
@@russelllennon3043 Hi, Sorry about the problem - they're simple LUTs like any other LUT, and I haven't heard of any other issues, so I don't know of a fix for your specific problem other than I can refund your money. I'm more than happy to do that. Please email me at contact@onlinephotographytraining.com and let me know your name and the email address you used to buy the LUTs. I'll refund your $9 within 24 hours.
Excellent - I am a Luminar NEO user and I have recently purchased ON1 RAW 2024...but so far it looks a little daunting to get around the UI. I am therefore finding myself opening NEO because I know my way arount it so well. I really would like to get into ON1 and this Masterclass has given me the nudge I needed to go for it as a main editor. Great explanations and easy to follow. Looking forward to seeing more of these....many thanks
Great tutorial. I know On1 24 rather well, but this was great for a quick review and reminder of what is available. Thanks, and keep up these excellent tutorials.
This is the most comprehensive tutorial I’ve come across covering import and exporting images along with other great image editing tips. Thank you for the video, well done.
Great introduction. I'm struggling a bit with certain aspects of ON1 Photo Raw, particularly the masking tools. A video on that would be great. I've purchased your presets as a thank you for this video.
Excellent video, this has been a life saver, whilst I am native to Photoshop and Capture1, importing to On1 was a utter disaster, as no-one thought about discribing the import process, thank you so much for making same, would advice anybody to watch you videos
Great video. Need help with something. Once I've reviewed all imported photos how do I delete all that I've rejected by marking with an "x" during my preview?
Thank you sooo much Anthony . I really like how you enlarge your screen to show the panels. You taught me a lot about Lr5 that I still use with Affinity photo. I did use On1 in 2017/18 and really liked the On1 way until On1 let themselves down imho. Still not sure if I need or want to learn (can learn) another app but I have another freebie of 29 day to sort that out. 7:55 selecting best : bugga, was hoping they had copied the Lr way that is not widely known ; ' '` " (top left) to pick and also unpick . I found that by chance a few years back and it's a so fast one hand sort . 10:23 AI keywords : How good is that Anthony? A link will do if you covered the subject elsewhere . I am worry it will just make a bigger mess than I already have 20:4920:28 so/too many choices :( I usually stay away from "click (acquired preset) editing" Top video, easy enough to follow although I will need to revisiting often for awhile --- too old for all this new stuff :(
Hi Anthony, I enjoyed your video on On 1 Photo Raw. Is it possible to do edits on photos in the program with a limited amount of AI and process manually? Its just that I would prefer to have control of making changes to learn what the controls, tools, etc. do. I may end up using AI to supplement my photos just a little bit, but I don't want to over process them.
9:30 make a catalog folder: and that's when 2,500 files disappeared from my hard drive , even the file search app Everywhere can't find them! The On1 mob are scratching their heads . May have happened when I hit Cancel (???) because On1 was adding ALL my files and not just the new test photos I just added .
Thanks for the video. I’m looking for a Lightroom replacement. I want to use iCloud Drive to store images that are to be edited but when you explain file import you import off the sd card and save to a local drive. Now, if I have On1 on my iPad or my MacBook will both instances of On1 be able to use those imported images if I save them to iCloud Drive? I have to investigate the subscription costs. It’s around $80/year for the iPad version. I want to see if this includes copies of On1 on both my Mac Mini and MacBook.
Great video thank you I just purchased ON1 and have to learn everything so this was a great start. Is there a way to batch export instead of one at a time? Also small thing I see you resetting the whole photo when editting but how do I just undo the last change I made not everything? looking forward to more videos. Thank you!
I'm still on the fence to move from Adobe. Appreciate the video. My workflow includes using iCloud for initial editing, which I don't beleive ON1 supports.
I downloaded this program after watching this video, normally use Lightroom and Photoshop. Have to say I was completely underwhelmed with OnOne, will be sticking with my current choices for photo editing. Have never yet found photo editing software I prefer over Adobe products.
Thank You for your awesome tutorial Anthony! I currently have standalone ON1 Photo Raw 2023 w/ bundle. I downloaded the trial version of 2024.5 due to hearing that iPhone 13 Pro ProRaw DNG files can be used in this new version. I can import them in ON1 as a DNG from Apple Photos but upon importing, they're converted into a jpeg instead of remaining in the DNG RAW file. Do you have any insight on this? Thanks again, appreciate all your hard work! 👍
Finally something on Portrait Editing, Hey Anthony I have another question for you concerning presets. Do On1 raw have any presets like Lightroom has for portraits? It seems like 95% of all the writing on youtube only deals with Landscape photos when it comes to ON1 Raw. I have to admit one of the luring things about Lightroom is the writers aren't afraid to deal with editing portraits on a daily basis. The presets that deal with the face and individual parts of the face and body are very very appealing but it seems like on1 can do the same thing it just needs to be talked about more. I prefer to stay in On1 unless I have to go into Photoshop or Neo. Can you discuss apples to apples Lightroom's workflow vs On1 workflow? Tell me what you think and how can I make On1 act as if it was lightroom.
Is there any difference in performance using a top level folder for catalog instead of a catalog per date? When i installed i selected "My Pictures" to catalog, which includes dozens of folders and thousands of images.
Anthony, appreciate the tutorial, but everyone shows us the features, which is great, but can you do a short video on file management for on 1. How to save an image, you showed us export, but what if we want to save our edits and go back to the image later....as a big bonus, how about when using with lightroom as i have my years of LR use with all my catalogs, etc. imho that info is lacking, both with on 1 tutorials and the several of the folks who are great, as yourself, with showing feature, but overlooked how to work with the files.
I have a question concerning. I noticed in your example video you imported from your Nikon z7ii. Do you use a CFexpress card? I have the same camera and use the CFexpress card. Do you have the same problem I have that you can't auto eject the card after import? I also have the same problem when importing into Lightroom. And sometimes I can't even get the macOS system to physically eject the card.
Hi Anthony - I just bought the Colour My World Sky collection and got a 30% with your promo code. How do I install this to work with my On1 2024? Thanks.
Great tool, however I am not sure about the amount of control that AI has. However, with all the controversy with Adobe, seems everyone is looking for an alternative.
Purchased and imported the presets into ON! Photo Raw 2024 only to experience they do not work very well. Cannot scroll up or down via arrow keys. Can move mouse one at a time often with a selection preventing further up or down movement. At one point a preset caused the program to crash. Any suggestions?

Great video on typical ON1 workflow. Please continue with the series
Your video is so much better than the tutorial the software came with. I understand so much better now. Thank you!

I'm just starting to work with ON1. This is a great explanation for beginners. Thanks!

Very helpful tutorial. Looking forward to a youtube on ON1 Photo Raw resizing and sharpening for the web. Thanks Anthony.
This was SUPER helpful. Thank you.

Hey Anthony I purchased your presets as a thank you for doing this video. Thanks again, Walter Paul
Bedankt
Wow wow wow. I have been searching for a tutorial video like this. Amazing work. Thank you so much for your effort.
Great video. Need help with something. Once I've reviewed all imported photos how do I delete all that I've rejected by marking with an "x" during my preview?
Brilliant! Thank you, Anthony, I am just about to download ON1 - this will help me get started.
Thanks you, more significant learning. And thank you for the discounts on the LUTs and preset packages.
Excellent and comprehensive. Waiting for your masking tutorial 😀
Thanks for the video.
This was great thank you. I look forward to watching others. I am going to purchase it now.

Can you use your own sky for sky replacements?
Good complete introduction for on1 2024 ;-) Nice video. Thanks.
I acquired the AI presets that are very interesting to use; ;-)
Thanks for this lesson. Helps a lot.

Bit worried about the A.I. . Does that mean the software is using a third party A.I. service ?
