I agree with the 2.0 argument. It's kinda nice they offer it but also really annoying. It's really hard to get yourself to pull out the game when you know the 2.0 is coming
Agreed. I dont mind the 2.0 or having to pay for it if it improves a game i already own. I would prefer they werent required but thats the nature of crowd funding alot of these are small companies learning how to do something new to them. The worst part is now knowing there is one i wont get it out the box until i have the latest version. I did that with Middara then when i had got my game group committed found out about 1.2....
Lautapelit is Finnish, not French. 🤣 I don't think Agemonia gets an upgrade kit. There is nothing really wrong with the original print. It gets new heroes and a reprint due to demand.
The reprint will include fixes for the items identified in the current errata. In addition, an update kit will be available for original owners. They said it will be stickers you can apply over the existing text. Also, in addition to the new heroes, they have hinted at content unlocks as well. Things like additional professions, for example.

I've played How to Save The World several times and I can set up a play for you virtually if you have time. It's a really interesting twist on competitive gameplay that FEELS semi coop but it isn't. You're investing in possible game ending results. Anyways hit me up and I'll get you in contact with the pub
I can't stand these 2.0 upgrade packs. I have 8 games in my collection that need an upgrade pack or are going to need one when they come out like isofarian guard and aeon trespass odyssey and my collection isn't even that big its less then 50 games. And many of the upgrade packs aren't available and they never sold them after the Kickstarter so I can't get the changes without getting a new copy of the game. I can't get a copy of 2nd edition upgrade pack for oathsworn and they have stated they will not make more. So I am stuck with first edition and the only way I can get the new version is to buy a whole new copy. It sucks feeling that you have a subpar version of the game and can't do anything about it. I would honestly prefer these companies only produce pdf's for changes.
Yep sucks when you support a creator and are punished for it. Luckily I did back the Oathsworn upgrade kit, but haven’t applied it yet. Lots of BGG threads with confusion about it, and they couldn’t be bothered reprinting the priest board so 1E supporters who helped the company get (a little bit) shafted.
Let’s see Reichbusters needed an update pack because Mythic. Tanares adventures had an update pack right after it delivered. It’s like they’re not doing their due diligence you know? I think those are the two I can think of.
Yeah the 2.0 movement is difficult. As an original backer I feel a bit overwhelming navigating and upgrading my game to 2.0. I particularly hate when rules change significantly or new game modes are added. If it wasn’t in the original game then it probably wasn’t worthwhile to begin with and just adds more bloat.
2.0 seems like stuff that should have been in though. With 2.0s coming so much more it seems like it hints at rushed development that warrants a 2.0 in the second campaign to bring it to the original vision where more testing could have just mitigated some of the issues. There is something to be said if a game has been out for a while and fixes real problems in a 2.0 version
Re: Version 2.0 dilemma. If they've been genuinely innovative, rather than simply trying to cram too much in and losing attention to detail, then yes I'm ok with it. I do value genuine innovation in crowdfunding, so cut them a degree of slack when that innovation has some rough edges.

Yes NPI is very much a vehicle for Efka trying to tell you why he is 'right', and that absolutely extends to the board game coverage. It's arguably the least useful boardgaming channel for helping viewers decide if the game is suitable for them.

We don't have enough of those people these days, but feel free to tell me if there's something else I might be missing.

Western Legends stories, reminds me of red dead redemption. I hope it will be like that.
Western Legends is in my All-Time Top 5. Just a great open world game experience!! Plus my teens loooooooooooooooove it too so that's a big bonus
