Well that was exciting. I played this,and within 4 minutes had a blackbird sitting 2 metres from me! Interestingly a little finch also answered the call.
Played this in a empty forest and actually heard a response! I heard a Blackbird respond to me with the same melody. It felt so surreal. Edit: And one came too in a nearby tree! It was so cool!
I've Been an Ornothologist my entire life and The Common Or Garden Black bird,female Brown is possibly one of the most Charismatic garden birds, Amazing Song... There's just so much going on in there, So friendly but also Incredibly Territorial and Aggressive, Been dive bombed and Bombed more than once for Winding them up
