So glad you talked about internal heat! I’ve noticed my melasma flare up badly wearing a mask for the past year. The heat it created inside the mask has been horrible for hyperpigmentation.
I also suffer with hyper-pigmentation. I'm using Tretinoin and I was wondering when I should stop using it and what to use instead. You are the best! Thank you!
I don’t use Tretinoin with my Melasma clients. I recommend switching to this. www.artofskincare.com/farmhouse-fresh-mighty-brighty-vitamin-c-sleep-gelee/
Yes. Set aside the glycolic and retinol for summer. Instead choose enzymes such as the Sunapee C, and Rhonda’s Brightening Pigment Lotion. If you want to continue with retinol choose a Retinaldehyde serum like Rhonda’s Synergy A. Here are my best tips. learn.artofskincare.com/summer-hyperpigmentation/
With the Sculplla system, I would use Rhonda’s Brightening Pigment Tonic and Dr Esthe vita C Radiance Ampule them apply your Cavi and Promoter Repair Cream. At night use the Tonic and alternate each night between Rhonda Allison Mandelic Arginine and Vita 10 Complex and use Brightening Cream Enhanced as you PM moisturizer. I love this protocol.
@@trishpugelli5371 PLLA is very hard to penetrate into the skin. The oxygenating helps to drive it into the skin. If is is not bubbling for you, we should do some detective work to understand why. The My Skin Buddy is also excellent for driving the PLLA into the follicle.
Hi Maria, Most of these products are fine for sensitive skin. I recommend going to my website and asking LiveChat for help. My LiveChat is all licensed and highly trained estheticians. They have access to all my protocols and they can help you choose the best products.
I would not use glycolic in the summer unless you have a type of acne that requires it. I would switch to this. I like this for summer it is vita C and Mandelic. www.artofskincare.com/purerb-caviar-lime-x-pholiate-3504.html

Wow! This is so helpful. Would you say now is the time to back off the harsher glycolics & retinols? I’m in SoCal and spend a lot of time outdoors.

@@ArtofSkinCare Thank you so much! I really enjoy your videos and find them so informative.
Is radio frequency Ok or is that considered internal heat?
It all depends on the level of RF. Our MBK Curve is an RF device that does not cause hyperpigmentation!
so you dont use your sculplla products during the summer? Will they go bad? i have all of them
You can use Sculplla all year round! We just need to make some modifications if you have hyper pigmentation that you want to work on.

Always concerning about mixing the serums in my hand with thinking that I may not apply them evenly.
It is fine to layer them. I do both.
Hi, when I use my Lightstim my skin get hot and flushed. Could this contribute to pigmentation?
Yes. I recommend putting on Sorella Lemon Lightening Serum first and holding the device just off the skin so that it isn’t touching.
If I eliminate glycolic acid 10% 3 days a week with Madelic acid 5% how many times a week should I use it during the summer time? Thank you 🤍
