Great upload. I remember listening to this series of interviews with Mike Read at the time. There was an episode every Saturday lunch time. Maybe half a dozen episodes and I think spanned until the (then) present day of the album Flowers In The Dirt around 1990. I'd love to hear the rest. At the time I taped them but they are long gone now!
Eleanor Rigby (10 out of 10 masterpiece) & Yellow Submarine (10 out of 10 cultural impact, production, fun sing along, I loved it as a kid). God, then add Here, There And Everywhere 10 For No One 10 I Got To Get You Into My Life 10 Good Day Sunshine 10 ...the guitar solo on Taxman and the tape loops etc, the great singing by PM, increible

I’ve visited Eleanor Rigby’s grave in Woolton Liverpool a short walk from John’s childhood home ❤
Wonderful Paul McCartney.
I think Paul is right on, This is one of the best interviews he has done.
