"Trabis on a bumpy surface", haha! I bet nobody had ever spoken of trabis in such a sweet way! Rügen - and together with it the whole north and east of Germany - has such a different historical feeling, more quiet and unobtrusive somehow. There`s a strange melancholic, nearly spooky atmosphere covering everything, the sceneries, the villages, the cities and even the coast. I always can feel all those "old ghosts" walking there until today, invisibly with their silk hats and frock coats, their white dresses, umbrellas and gloves. Again, a beautiful video! And you chose the music so delicately, it totally fits the thoughtful and melancoly mood! Rügen was visited by wealthy people during the last 200+ years, they enjoyed the surroundings, cared for their health, showed their status, celebrated their traditions ... and deeply feared the coming war. They all had their bad losses ... people, houses, places. So now all that wealth and happy times seem like a lost dream, like a sad melody weaving through the empty halls of long disappeared buildings. Thank you so much for your inspiring work!
@@LaureninGermany Yes, exactly, that`s it! As if the blue sky, the roses, the manicured green lawn and white buildings in the sunshine are just a picture on a transparent foil - and behind it, there`s all the long gone people and their feelings coming through. like in black and white. It even works for me when just watching it being filmed or on a picture. Interesting that you feel the same about those places. I have been able to feel and "get" pictures and sense emotions of people of old times in some places since childhood. There are some places where those older layers of time more easily come through, I`ve ever called it "transparent places". I am so very used to those impressions, I put them into my stories.
