I found that using Thunder interceptors on Redacted works great. Or any fighter with EMP capacity, though thunders work best. You need to cross the critical mass of them however.
I did quite extensive tests on pure fighters once using post-battle stat mod, DMI + SCY mods fighters included. If i recall correctly, it was against an armed capship with some PDs (either paragon or onslaught) with 4 different fighter squad each round and Thunders were ALWAYS #1 easy competing even with expensive high tech mod fighters. The raw damage might be mediocre comparing to bombers but EMP + general survivability and good all-around energy damage were always putting them in a top position.
Nah, mate. Shield shunted Retribution is where it's at. Wrecking balling my way through any fleet with an antiquated museum ship that pogo-sticks about on fission bombs is just too good.
@@Mudsson1 Jokes aside, maximizing armour and eliminating the shield flux load actually make the thing surprisingly good. Very "Great War Dreadnought-Battlecruiser" I named my flagship "Fisher's Furious Floppy Phal..." (the name got cut off somewhere around there due to limit which I thought made it even funnier)
I find tach lances too Flux inefficient for Remnants, and the huge range isn't as big of an advantage vs Nova and Radiant I do love them though, a all tach Lance paragon was my first good ship when I was new
Nice flux edging vs the first radiant. Also what type of officers are those? Im really surprised that no one cornered himself without constant overseeing except that stupid omen.
@Kirisame312 I love the odyssey too, but I have severely underestimated the fortress shield and never will again. The paragon is just a beast, with sufficient backup I think it's unkillable. ...until a Harbinger and Pegasus are in the same enemy fleet. Then it doesn't matter and your fucked lmao

I used like 24 drone carriers, worked nice but requires you to farm up those drones to begin with.
@@---ii8hl I'll try this in my next fleet. Thank you!
@@Mudsson1 Its best to use THunders to take out escort ships and tank capitals with monitors until you have only capitals left, then take those out

I have recently flew in love with thunders, so I'm gonna agree with you here.

@carlborg8023 that's actually hilarious especially considering the Retributions shitty "shield"

Why plasma instead of Tachyon Lance? Maybe its better for big ship skirmish but you can't surprise nuke smaller ships

Aggressive officers. But I gave the falcons all long ranged weapons so they don't get toooooo close
Doom is my favorite as a player pilot, with Odyssey as a second. The Paragon is just so slow...
