My issue with the "young" crowd is ur dealing with people who think they are gonna get what they put into it when meanwhile ur buying their failed project
We still have my grandfather's Mercedes W109. Those cars cost more to fix than they are worth so everyone who does it is in it for the passion as an enthusiast. My gripe with the young BMW crowd is they slam and stance an e30 or e34 then think it's worth more than an original car cause it's modded. Sorry buddy you ruined it.
Nice video, good tips all around. In Canada our worst enemy is rust. A clean car is usually a good buy. Parts (even an engine) can be swapped relatively easily, can't say the same for bodywork!
I can't use social media so CL and AT are my barn finds for whatever.. .I don't have any more BMW wants to get excited over, except maybe a how to drive E46 M3 SMG sanely and downshifting without it barking and a track day with it later this year ..
Searching for a car online is like searching dating sites. You have to assume most sellers are lying about something. And since most transactions are at arms length, “as is”, it’s a real gamble. You need to see the car in person or, if it’s too far away, have someone you trust, inspect the car and the title. Carfax or other title sites are necessary. Too many “I’m selling it for my friend or relative “, with the sellers name not on the title. Even fake titles are a serious problem with bank liens not acknowledged.
Can you make a video or just respond with how to get my parents to let me get something stick for my first car? They are worried that manual will be too much of a distraction.
@@willywillypoopy1652 trust me I tried that one. They say you shouldn’t be on it anyway. Which is true, but like, idk lmao. They just aren’t fans of the idea. Any other ones?
A manual car is actually a lot less distracting because it forces you to be focused at all times. You're a lot more aware of what's going on around you because you're more connected with the car and driving in general
@@Logan-ml2dt yeah exactly like u rlly gotta focus if u wanna downshift before red lights and honestly you def do have more control in the car if driving manual
A manual transmission is the opposite of a distraction. Having a manual transmission forces you to be more alert and aware of your surroundings as your the one in control of the car, the car isnt doing anything for you. With automatics driving isnt really engaging which can cause you to take your focus off the road and not be completely aware of your surroundings. The only thing that makes driving dangerous is the idiots on the road who cant drive properly. Having a manual transmission will make you better at judging situations and allow you make quick decisions that unalert drivers cant. Hope this helps!
