I only discovered Dodie recently, her having never made it into my recommendations. She’s a delight and there’s something interesting about her music. Not normally my sort of thing, but it’s really emotive.

this is the best music video i've ever seen tbh, and i'm commenting years later, after having seen it first released and keep coming back to it years later.
i just love PJ's style. i love using practical effects/puppets bc it just feels so real! and i love how intentionally goofy it is. it's like everything i love in film got combined into this music video. good song/good lyrics, check obvi. good visuals, excellent practicals, just the balance of oof ow lyrics with kinda silly visuals, then the end where there's desperation in the main character's eyes as he confronts his trauma and literally eats it (even tho it's his own heart ope)

Pj has been hinting at this for a while now, and I was so excited when I saw the thumbnail. Pj and Dodie, two of my favorite creators ever. This is like the ultimate collaboration for me. An insane and beautiful world created with just the right amount of handmade to it, paired with a gorgeous song. Both charming in their own ways, and both much deeper than their surface may seem. This is by far one of my new favorites from both creators
