I can relate to this story 100 percent. I gave everything I had, went against family and friends, utterly isolated, I put in my sweat, blood and tear, all my savings, my God I loved hard! I even got suicidal but for my kids, especially my daughter. And after he watched me bleed to death just after a miscarriage he caused but for the intervention of neighbors, I gave up everything and decided to start from afresh. I didn't take a pin with me, just my kids and personal belongings I left. Almost 2 years later, it is the best decision I made. I am a million times better, happier and God has been faithful. I lost, my cousin sister to domestic violence in July this year 2022, after giving birth to her third child. My cousin, initially left the marriage. But, Church members went to her and convince her that her husband has changed. And also, advised her to stop telling her siblings about her marital issues. They told, her that if her husband goes to jail because her siblings were taking the matter seriously that she will be left to deal with taking care of the kids alone. He stopped, her from working despite being a graduate. He beats, her even during pregnancy. She complained, about her head cos' he is always hitting her on the head. She eventually, returned to the husband and he continued with the physical abuse and she kept silent about it. After, she put to bed. Same week, she started complaining of her head. And before, they got to the hospital she was already dead. She has left, three kids without a mother. The husband, will go on living his life. And even, get married to another woman. Male, or female, i don't advise people should remain in a toxic loveless relationship or marriage. There is much more to life than marriage.

When her mother confronted IVD, his reply showed that he is arrogant and his love for bimbo has expired. Bimbo should have moved out of the house and then take him to court. There are experienced lawyers in town who would have helped her retrieve whatever was hers from IVD.

According to this story, after their first separation, when IVD threatened to kill himself, Bimbo did not allow anybody or anything to stop her, she ran back to her husband but now when IVD was supposed to run to her rescue but reverse is the case, he held back and watched her died. I have a late friend who was in a similar situation and also set herself on fire. It usually is an extreme way for a woman to commit suicide but then means the person is mentally gone they become numb so no amount of pain makes them feel anything.

I lost, my cousin sister to domestic violence in July this year 2022, after giving birth to her third child. My cousin, initially left the marriage. But, Church members went to her and convince her that her husband has changed. And also, advised her to stop telling her siblings about her marital issues. They told, her that if her husband goes to jail because her siblings were taking the matter seriously that she will be left to deal with taking care of the kids alone. He stopped, her from working despite being a graduate. He beats, her even during pregnancy. She complained, about her head cos' he is always hitting her on the head. She eventually, returned to the husband and he continued with the physical abuse and she kept silent about it. After, she put to bed. Same week, she started complaining of her head. And before, they got to the hospital she was already dead. She has left, three kids without a mother. The husband, will go on living his life. And even, get married to another woman. Male, or female, i don't advise people should remain in a toxic loveless relationship or marriage. There is much more to life than marriage.
Sorry for your loss. Where is the church today? The very church who covered the evil till it brought about her death. What are their plans for her little children? May her soul rest in peace. No one should remain in a toxic environment. Protect your life jealously.
