I enjoyed this drama. SPOILER ALERT The FL supported and lived with her in-laws for 3 years; despite only having a wedding ceremony and not a license. Her having a "gigolo" for those 3 years was within the boundaries of her agreement with her husband. The husband chose to not get the license and to go overseas with his girlfriend, then purposely get pregnant to force his parents to accept the girlfriend. He rubbed his relationship in his wife's face, always chose his girlfriend over his wife, and relied on his wife's class to not make a scene. Instead of confronting his wife about the diary entries, he chose to get a girlfriend instead. The ML (gigolo then CEO) never disclosed his identity as they were not in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship at that time; the FL supported him. He supported and honored what she needed at the time, then slowly pushed for more as her relationship with her husband disintegrated. He was always respectful and a true partner. The FL's sister and ex-best friend were birds of a feather - nothing was off the table to get what they wanted, including murder. I loved how both of them led to their own karma. The Jiangs deserved their fate, as they used the FL for profit after bringing their biological daughter home. I've seen other versions with more chemistry between the leads, but they were super sweet and hot for each other. ❤❤
I especially liked the birthday banquet scene when the 2 women tried their best to humiliate the FL with the chorus line going black and white in talking FL down. FL just kept her dignity while she listened until she tore her healing and bowed down to officially sever her ties with the family. Then, the ML enters and put everyone in their proper places. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Seriously why can the husband have a mistress but everyone always reminds the FL that she’s married whenever she’s in the company of ML. Ex husband dares to confront ex wife and calls her a cheat and says everyone knows they’re a couple but he’s got a mistress of three years who’s pregnant and he even denies that his wife is his wife in public, he’s such a flaky hypocrite who has double standards.
I loved the ML and FL actors who plays these characters. They look beautiful together a d hace great chemistry. I want a part 2 of them having a great time abd having genius kids who further build their business empire and protect their parents. Do it as a script!
I know I’m so happy to see this flipped. Normally the girl is being bullied, makes him regret it, but ultimately forgives. I hate when that happens lol.

This was excellent because the FL was not a push over, and she didn't allow herself to be bullied! She was strong, independent, smart, and beautiful! This was a nice change. I get tired of seeing weak FL. The ML is handsome and smart! I really enjoyed this drama! I like how the FL wasn't afraid to talk and spill the beans about her cheating fake husband's infidelity, taking the mistress with him and getting her pregnant!
ML & FL had some chemistry, but there’s another version of this story where the actor & actress had a lot more hot and intimate chemistry. This one was watchable. For those who commented that she’s more of a sinner, come on…seriously? Her fiancé left her first to be with another woman and got her pregnant. Came back and bragged about it. He chose the mistress over his fiancée. They were not married. Nothing was legal. You may morally disagree with her being with another guy, who showed her love and affection. But to call her a sinner, while leaving the ex-fiancé out of that sinner name calling is quite the double standard 😏
Yeah, you are absolutely right, why called her a sinner for living her life and being with someone who loves her, respect her, what about the cheater ex- he disrespected her, humiliate her, abandoned her for her so call best friend, and nobody said anything about him, double standards.
This is the third version I've seen. The first version acting was better. The second version plenty of horny moment but the ML acting is a little stiff. This version had the best looking ML but I'm a bit spook by the SML eyes. They're unnaturally huge.

Now the 57:53 minute doesn't surprise me that scene at all, but I really like the female lead as she play a strong character. Chemistry with lead wasn't too bad too, I like how both male and female lead play with the other character in this drama which leads to female getting her trump over her ex husband and his girlfriend plus female lead sister.
I loved her reaction when she realized her mistress of 3 years was actually the richest man around and that she had been supporting him the whole time was a waste. Her ex was a piece of work. He ruined their relationship over a dairy that he chose to not confront her about instead he hooked up with her best friend who is just evil. and let's be honest he only chose her because he knew it would hurt and piss of the fl. But luckily enough fl found a good and loyal mistress. That's a joke of itself because she never was legal married to the ex and their relationship ended the moment he betrayed her but the fact that she acted like she was having an affair was funny but she never actually betrayed anyone. I'm glad ml kept going after her and didn't allow her to throw their relationship away. She deserved to have someone who really cared about her in her life who wouldn't just believe circumstance evidence unlike everyone else in her life. I wish we had gotten some info on when they met as kids.
