Hi Meridith, thanks for sharing! Just beware that not all luxury houses will allow for shipping to freight forwarders, for example, Louis Vuitton. Celine is also pretty strict. Also, consider finding a company in Europe, it’s roughly 10-20% cheaper in EU than UK. Love your vids🥰

great information. we are lucky in the UK to have access to most pieces. I live quite far away from London where the best selection is - but it is definitely easier for me to visit than it is for you guys over in Australia.

What happens if the package is opened and there’s faults? Is there an option for skytrax to return it ?

Thank you so much for this informative video. In your experience, does Skypax process / update on weekends? Also, what was your experience with the delivery services in the UK which delivered package from the store to the Skypax suite? I tried this for the first time and it looks like DPD is the courier that was paid by the store to deliver my package to the Skypax suite. However, it doesn’t appear that they took it to the suite address directly but rather like some met the the DPD courier at Heathrow and my package was in a bin along with other packages. Does this sound correct to you? Thank you for your time! Vincent
I don’t think it updates on weekends. It does depend how the store ships the parcel and if it’s sent by direct courier it could have a system like you described. I hope everything goes seamlessly for you from here.
It appears to now be in the hands of FedEx. It’s my first time using this sort of service, so it was a bit harrowing going through the black hole period (as you mentioned). Also, it does seem that the Skybox attendant picks up a group of packages at Heathrow, which is where the courier stated they made the delivery-this was a little unnerving because my understanding is that my package would be delivered to the physical address provided by Skybox, which was close by but not in Heathrow. I was wondering if you could share any advice or tips on how to navigate this situation. Have you encountered a similar issue before?
It might be tied to your bank, I have an AMEX and find international cards are easier when trying to have things shipped using a forwarding service
So no custom. But no VAT as well I assume, compared to buying and get delivered directly from the store ?
Correct, you can’t claim the VAT back.

So if i make a purchase from france but my parcel doesnt ship to Ireland but ships to uk it will give me an address, then it will use that address to send the parcel to me in Ireland?

They would ship it, but be prepared for the postage costs.
hi, thank you for the information, just a quick question, when you fill out the delivery on a website, do you put send to company? as it is being sent to a forwarder. I would just like to know if it matters to leave it as my own address? they give me or do I select deliver to company, thanks,

Put deliver to company so they know they can only deliver in business hours.
When I got my address my suite number was on the second line not the first. The first line is 1a Rugby Road. This is how the sample is telling me to put address.I am worried it's wrong.
I put the suite first but I think either way will get to where it needs to be.

Is there some sort of verification process for the actual value of items assuming that there’s not a price tag attached of course. How would they say appraise a piece of jewelry?
There is no verification process. For the most part customs take it on faith the value on the paperwork is correct. However if they randomly chose your package to inspect and found a receipt, you would probably have a few questions to answer and fines to pay for lying.
How long does it take to say it’s holding a package for you?
Usually about 48 hours

You would need to investigate if there is a service for that. I don’t know of one.

You would need to find a service to do this. I’m not the service.
