Honestly I'm usually really afraid to watch highschool productions, but this was honestly AMAZING! Not only the singing and acting, but the dancing! There was obviously ALOT of work put into this, and you can tell that the choreographer was NOT playing around!
This was incredible! I thought they would've had to change some lyrics. My school did this play and I think they changed some of the lyrics. Overall, this is amazing! 💍💋💌💎💕🎀

Second of all, I can't believe they let high schoolers do this! like obviously the students don't care but I'm surprised the adults and teachers allowed it haha.
I see how this depiction of Paulette can be seen as very different from both the film and Broadway version. But I really enjoyed this interpretation, and I thought the actress maintained her role very well in the story even if she gave the character her own personal touch. I applauded her performance and her ability to make it her own. I really feel like she stole the scene.
There is no doubt that Miss Nemetz is a talented performer. If you did some hunting, you would actually find that I like this production and have left many positive comments on other videos of it. And for your information, when a role is created on Broadway, any other person that may play that role should work to keep the original vision of the director alive, in any sense. I'm pretty sure themadisonharmon meant the sexual material, not the portrayals of homosexuality. At my school, we got a lot of crap for the sexual material in our production of CABARET.
Our principal is a lesbian so she really doesn't care do u even know our school?!?! That principal is the same principal that hosted the hunger games at our school
A costume choice based on 1 line that doesn't come until the middle of the 2nd act would be pretty silly. Considering what the Delta Nus represent, a 1920s flapper costume is not appropriate for the role.
Elphaba is going to act the same as Idina Menzel did when she created the role. It's how the character is created. So no I'm not saying she should copy the work of the original actress who created the role, but she should rather work on her character study to learn how Paulette is really supposed to act and talk. I'm sorry, I guess I should have been more elaborate in my original comments.
The gay guy at the back is so distracting! Such a Scene stealer. He's not supposed to react with whatever the Greek chorus is saying coz it's only Elle and Paulette sees them.
Who thought it was a good idea to put the Delta Nus in flapper costumes? If you're going to make them look all the same, at least go for the literal "Greek Chorus." Flappers makes no sense.

Her bend and snap really doesn't have a lot of snap to it. Good but could have had more character on Paulette's part
