I got this for my mom for x-mas. she loves it. I upgraded her from a Tab A from 2016 so this is a very nice upgrade and around the same price. I was really happy they still make tablets around this price range.
its nice, but the midrange around 250-300 is still lacking, especially if u need a stylus. xiaomi and lenovo are charging a ridiculous amount for their pen, its a joke. with an extra pen you are looking at 400. the only viable option which is strong is the iPad 9. gen (on sale for 300) but only 64gb and without a pen and the the s6 lite 22 with 64gb (on sale for 240-250) but only 4gb ram, pen included.
@@mkuhlman77 You can buy it with 64 GB/4GB and 128/4GB. But AFAIK not with 8GB Ram. I myself own the 64GB/4GB for 250Euro (270 Dollar) In Switzerland. For that $ and what you can do with it and how portable it is, i had to get myself one.
I've been using it for medical school its a great deal, has good battery life. I sat studying for 20-30 mins and the tabled stayed at 91% ! lol. Great review man!
This review gave me a good insight. I have the Tab A 10 inch 2019 model (bought in 2020). While it works perfectly fine, I've had some issues due to lower RAM and storage. Also, S-Pen/stylus out of the box is something I'm looking forward to as I'm leaving for college pretty soon.
@@lenacheney it's decent, gets adequately bright. Only fly in the ointment for me is the screen bleed, which seems to have affected the 2022 models. Also HDR is available on RUclips but not on Netflix 😕
I have the old version, and it is a great Tablet price-quality-options, so the new one must be amazing. I don't need big options, I use it for study and office.
@@AndroidDigest Kindly tell about how many gb of samsung notes i can syn accross the devices as . In older condition it is 15 gb .but what is it now any change .
I've been loving this tablet! Got mine last week, even came from an iPad Mini 5. Fits my needs perfectly and the price I got mine for (300 for the 128gb one), could not pass it up.
@@AndroidDigest I think the bundled S-Pen is the total catch. Not even having to buy a $99 pen just to take digital notes or draw. For that price, almost too good to be true!
Wow, that is a great deal. That's my price for 2020 version just before this new version the US market earlier this year. This is already my 2nd S6 Lite. Best price - performance device on the market!
Honestly, this is my favorite tablet I've ever owned, and I had the Tab S5. I know its not the best tablet, but its just the right balance of price and performance. Just absolutely enjoy it.
That review is spot on my friend! I myself own the 64GB/4GB for 250Euro (270 Dollar) In Switzerland. For that $ and what you can do with it and how portable it is, I had to get myself one. I still own the First iPad and 2nd iPad generation but obviously haven't use them in the last couple of years :). My second device is the Note 10 plus witch I still love.
Thank you so much! Seriously, it means a lot! You have no idea! I work hard on youtube, even though I'm not the best channel, always good to be appreciated!
I juuuust got mine for $219. Comparing to the A8, speakers are way better, and it's very noticeably faster. The screen is meh for sure. But S-pen, Dex, the actually decent speakers, and headphone jack more than makes up for it.
Thanks for the review! Unfortunately I left my Tab S6 256gb in my UTV and it must have rained crazy hard because rain water somehow blew into the cab and ruined my tablet which I had given to my wife. Thought maybe it would dry out after a period of time but nope it's not coming back. Was going to just buy a Tab S8 with the Black Friday sales on right now but it's still a lot of money. Thought about picking up the 2022 Tab A8 but I've read too many reviews saying it's super slow and the specs all seem to be worse than the Tab S6 Lite. Ultimately, decided to order the updated 2022 Tab S6 Lite with the new processor which I think based on a bunch of reviews should do the trick for my wife which is mainly watching RUclips, Netflix, Web Surfing, Email and Social Media and got it for half the price of a Tab S8. Thanks again
Hopefully she enjoys it! It may be a little hard going from such a nice device and taking a step down but at least you didn't go all the way down to the tab A8. The S6 Lite is more than good enough for the basics
Tab s 6 lite 2022 on sale for 250 is pretty damn solid so just get a used one or open box when it goes on sale and you cab get it for a even lower price. If you can get UT around 200 it's a damn good deal.
I recently bought one of these. I have heard there is an issue with screen bled, but mine was fine. It is very fast and does the job perfectly. Couldn't be happier.
It all depends on what you need. My 2020 S6 lite just got android 13. It is fast as lighting and has beautiful graphics. No need for a new tablet anytime soon, but thank you.
Awesome review as always, Zack! However, I do have to quote an experience. I tested this tablet in a local retailer here in the Philippines, and I noticed that the display colors are a bit off. I thought it's just the retailer's demo unit, but I went to two other retailers and noticed the same thing. My son's A8 (the latest version... last year) has a better screen (even if it's slower). Shame because honestly, it's quite smooth. It would make a great gift to anyone. I'm hoping for a Tab S8 lite, though. I hope it at least gets 6GB of RAM and an IPS screen as opposed to TFT. A processor upgrade to 778G would also go a long way. And of course, at the same price. :) I couldn't care less with the refresh rate (it costs HALF of the iPad Mini and that doesn't have a high refresh rate), but this is a good value if it gets those upgrades, to be honest. Lastly, can DeX be wireless? I have a Tab S8 and an S22+, but I'm not aware if it's compatible with a Tizen-based Samsung TV.
Yes there is such a thing as wireless dex, but I don't think it's compatible with all devices. There should be some type of dex app on Windows computers, and maybe on some smart TVs. And I completely get what you're saying. A lot of it does depend on the market in your country too. We've seen this around Black Friday for like 200 bucks. I agree with you that I'm not a big fan of the colors on the screen but a lot of screens look pretty dull for this price. But I don't think there are many tablets that have things like Samsung dex, or that come with an S Pen or that even have this performance for around that price. A lot of it depends on the market and the area that you live though and everyone will have different priorities. If a screen is your priority you may want to look elsewhere. So nothing yours really saying is wrong. And I get what you're saying. I just don't know that they would upgrade all of those internals for a tablet that they will put on sale regularly under $300. But hey, I would love 6GB of RAM and a better processor and screen! Best wishes to you, comment any time and ask questions anytime
@@AndroidDigest Thanks, man! I'm a big fan of your channel, more than other big-name tech influencers. Continue what you do, you and Ivan (I follow him too) are killing it!
I just bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 model about 3 days ago at one of our Cash Converters stores here in Cape Town, South Africa for R3599 (South African ZAR) which equals to $198.07 USD. So far I can say I'm highly impressed by this tablet. 64GB storage and 4GB of RAM. This table handles everything I do on it like a B0$$. I got the tablet after doing some research on budget friendly tablets, and this S6 Lite ticked off on all the boxes for me. I've tested larger and more expensive tablets like the S7 and sure they are awesome, but when I think of all the functionalities I look for, this S6 Lite has me covered. In terms of productivity (reason why I got it) this works fantastic. Does gaming quite well too and the stereo speakers sounds amazing. I'm very happy with my purchase. Oh as a bonus for me, when I bought this S6 Lite, the Sales person told me it was a Wifi model only (No sim slot). I was cool with that. When I got home, I realized it did have a sim slot and the Sales person did not check correctly. So I scored big time on that 🙂
@@AndroidDigest Thanks and yes it has a sim / sd card slot. The tray that you eject takes a sim on the 1 side and the SD card on the other side. The first hint I saw was when I powered the tab on for the first time, it had a no sim message on the top right side of the screen. The WiFi only model will not show this notification.
That's a crazy good deal for sure. Especially when you consider the fact that a lot of tablets don't come with a stylus, a lot of them charge like $99 on the side
Thanks for making this video! It was really helpful I want to buy a budget-friendly tablet since I'm going to uni next year, I also want it to make educational video's (screen recording) Whould recommend this tablet for making educational vidoes's? Or should I go for another one? Btw, I will use the tablet only for study purposes and making educational videos, and I have a pc for editing....
What do you mean by educational videos? You are just talking about recording whatever you are doing on your screen? If so this will work just fine for that. Basically in the Android world, at least in the US, there aren't a lot of great tablets on the lower end. There's this tablet which you can find around $200ish brand new for the holidays, or you can jump all the way up to the Tab S7 FE which is like $400. It's definitely a nice jump up in performance but it's also a big jump in price. Then if you pay a little more you get a tab s8, a little more and you get an S8 Plus, and so on. If you are willing to go to the used market you could find a refurbished tab s7 fe with a keyboard on eBay for like $300. or a used one for even less than that. The Tab S6 Lite 2022 (make sure it's the 2022 model) is about $150 used. Now if you're not in the US maybe I wasted my time explaining all that. But either way the market should be fairly similar in other countries even if the prices are a little higher. If you like the Android ecosystem and you want to get an Android tablet I would recommend the tab s6 lite for most people that can't afford to spend as much. And I'd recommend the tab s7 fe or the tab s8 for those people with a little bit of extra money. And I'd recommend the S8 Plus and the S8 ultra for the people who want the best of the best. In your case it really just depends on how much you're willing to spend. You can get by with the lower model but if you can afford to go up to something like the S7 FE it's a good buy
I guess it depends how much it costs you. Again the only difference is the processing power, and potentially more software updates. If you find it for $250 like it has been recently, and if you can flip your tablet somehow for like $150, it can definitely be worth it. But I wouldn't pay an extra $350 for this. I saw you noticed it for $250, and technically you could get one open box from Best Buy too! So definitely worth it if you can flip your S6 Lite for some decent money, you will get a slightly faster tablet and if you really liked the S6 Lite, it's a good bargain. Alternatively, you could look on a place like eBay for a tablet like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which has a faster processor and a larger screen, and a slightly better screen. I've seen those selling in mint condition for like $350, even refurbished, but that was a few months ago, may be even cheaper now. But if you prefer a smaller form factor like 10.4", upgrading the processor can be really nice! So yes, I'd recommend the upgrade. If you are looking for a tablet upgrade under $300 this is a solid option!
Yeah you can get this for $250 when it's on sale sometimes. Plus you can get it cheaper on eBay at times if you buy it used. Just make sure to put 2022 in the title, since their is an older version of this
We all overpay for things we enjoy. I can buy a mint condition pixel 7 Pro for like $500. Yeah people are paying $1,200 for the S23 Ultra n I get 90% of the performance and camera performance for under half the price. But sometimes people love cars and they buy cars brand new and not used and they buy expensive cars. That's okay. We all have our things. And some people will buy the S23 Ultra and love it. Nothing wrong with it. But it's good to save money when you can
I have a 2022, I got it for Writing Books and not for internet use, So after I bought it I keep locked permanently on airplane mode. I will never ever take it off airplane mode. I am trying to use Samsung Notes as a Free Built in Word Processor that i could use it for a lifetime. I know that if I were to ever take it off airplane mode that I could lose all of my important writings with stupid updates, advertising and expiration dates. Plus I don't want the internet to see my personal writings. I don't want to use Microsoft Office or other word processor's because you ether have to pay for them or they blast you with updates that mess things up. Plus I don't want the internet monitoring everything I am writing or doing on my personal Samsung 2022. So my biggest question is; 1- Can I just Bluetooth my Samsung Notes directly to a Printer? Without Wi-Fi or Internet? And how do I do that? 2 - Is their an adapter cord to hook up to my Samsung directly to a Printer?? Without the use of Internet or WiFi? 3 - Can i copy Samsung Notes to a thumb drive for safe keeping?
Sadly I don't have a lot of good answers for you. Really all of these things are related to printing. And I'm not a big printer person. I haven't tried phones with several printers, so not too sure. In Samsung notes you should be able to save notes as files like pdf files, so then you should be able to move to any usb drive. You just have to get a usb c hub or something like that and connect a usb-c device. Or just use the sd card slot and move it to that. But it's sort of complicated. Honestly seems like way too much stress to avoid all this when you could just use a separate word processor that saves in word format, but hey, do what you have to do.
Which one is better samsung galaxy S6 lite or A8????I'm in a low budget and I'm looking for a best tablet for digital drawing, taking notes, watching movies...just for simple things in my budget....and I think s6 lite with s pen(for drawing purpose) is the best....will that be okay??
Honestly I would pick either this or I would pick the P11 Pro Gen 2. And to be honest if you don't need the stylus I would say the P11 pro gen 2 is a better value. 120hz. Oled screen. And in the US you can find it for around $300. I reviewed it very recently on my channel, like one of my last three or four videos. Feel free to use any links in the description if you decide to buy anything. But that tablet will be faster than all the options you mentioned, it has a higher refresh rate, it has a better screen, and the price is pretty similar to the other options. Just no pen in the box
What's a better buy? This or the Lenovo p11 plus or hp chromebook x2? They all around the same price. Just for web browsing, RUclips and streaming movies
Well I would pick this over the pl11 plus mainly because I would expect you to get more software support and it also comes with the spen. It's going to have very similar quality as far as the screen and as far as the speakers and things like that. It's a little tougher with the HP. Chrome OS is a whole different thing. There are some websites I go to for example that load way better on a desktop browser so the fact that Chrome OS has a desktop browser with full extensions, for me personally that's a really good advantage. It also comes with the pen, and it comes with a keyboard. It's not the best keyboard in the world but the fact that you can get some productivity work on it is a pretty big deal. And it also has a fingerprint sensor. And it will get more software support. But Android is a little more simple. And Chrome OS does work pretty well with most Android apps but Android tablets will still have a little bit of better app optimization. And they are a little bit simpler too. So if you pull up Google drive for example you won't have to go back and forth and wonder is this the web app or is this the Android app, you will just have one Google drive app that will work a certain way and that's it. In the end I think the HP is a little bit more of a versatile machine. It does have some small bugs. But it will allow you to do a little bit more. But the tab s6 lite will be a lighter tablet, it will be a little more portable, with a good software experience. I hate to give strong recommendations one way or the other. I like to give people information and let them decide for themselves but hopefully this helped
I just got the tablet today and I noticed a backlight bleed issue at the bottom of the screen, is there anyone with the tablet having the same issue? This is a good tablet but I do hope that it's just a "me" issue so I can return and get a new one
I don't remember seeing it, but I also wasn't looking SUPER close. I don't have it now to test, I switch devices often, but hope you can get some answers!
Yup mine was like that at the bottom of the screen, so I returned it. Not too hopeful since other people also returned theirs and received ones with the same defects.
@@AndroidDigest yours do have the issue but to a lesser degree @5:27 and @6:50 see the right side of the tablet (since you are holding it on a landscape mode)
@@wononlee Yeah apparently it's due to the eye protective shield of the device and it's a problem for every device of this model so there's nothing you can really do
I can't remember off the top of my head. But I remember that this device couldn't connect with a monitor with a usb-c cable. But I can't remember if I tested the 2022 model to see if anything changed. I don't currently own this model... I switch devices as I review them. But just a heads up. Sorry I couldn't help more. Hopefully someone else can
Honestly no I wouldn't recommend it in your case. The processor is really the only bonus and it doesn't sound like you're going to take a ton of advantage of it anyway. But if you go to a tablet like the Samsung Galaxy tab S7 FE. You could trade your tablet in and get $250 towards it. Or you could trade your tablet in for $350 towards the Samsung Galaxy tab S8. And with those Black Friday deals for those specific tablets I think it may be worth it to go get one of those. Only if you want the extra power and screen quality. The tab S7 fe is bigger. The s8 has a better refresh rate and is similar in size to what you have. I just don't think the regular s6 lite from 2022 is a huge upgrade for you
@@AndroidDigest i am nervous i just bought one and I heard a lot about bleeding in the screen mine arrives today I might return it and get a better one
I mean it's not ideal. Med students probably need to get an actual laptop. If you want to be a dr it would probably be a better investment to get a $500ish laptop. Or to get a Tab S8. But I still can't give a great answer because I have no idea what the needs of a med student would be and what programs they use
If you already like to read on the go it's a no brainer for that, because you can also use it for drawing, and scrolling the news or watching videos, doing that on a 6" phone screen is tough
Can you confirm how many years of updates s6 lite will get? Ps I just got my first ever tablet (s6 lite 2022 one) for 230 usd I hope its a good purchase for me☝️
That's a terrific deal. Unfortunately I can't confirm for sure. Mainly because it's a remake of an older tablet, not sure if they will put it on the same update cycle as the old one. I'm assuming it will get at least 2 years of OS updates though. And I'm assuming they treat it like a new device and not just a rehashing of an old one. If they makes sense. Just haven't confirmed yet. But $230 is a great price for that
@@AndroidDigest haha thanks :) I had a talk with the Samsung customer service and they said that it will get 3 years of os updates and 4 years of security. Which I feel is good as it's just a remake.
Hi! I just bought the s6 lite, in the Samsung store they told me that it was the 2022 version, but how do I really know if it is? Is there a way to check in the settings? Thanks!
You can download the cpu-z application and check the processor. If it's a snapdragon 732 or 720 it's the newer model. If it's a Snapdragon 600 something or Exynos it should be an older model
I am currently doing classes and looking for a note taking tablet. I won't be playing games like that, just want it for study and then for a yr long nursing course. Would this be good?
Honestly that's really really hard to say. Everyone has different expectations. And I don't fully know what would be required from a nursing course. Sometimes schools need you to run windows programs to do some work. But sometimes a tablet works for everything. This isn't the fastest tablet. But it's not the slowest. It's not as fast as the newest flagship phones, but it's not super slow like prepaid phones. This tablet fits in the middle. But it comes with an spen. Looks decent. So for taking notes with the s pen this would be great! Need to type up on occasional short paper? Great! Just get a Bluetooth keyboard and you are good. You can ever connect a Bluetooth mouse too. This even has Samsung DeX so it can act like a laptop in a way. If your budget is right at $200 or so and taking notes with a stylus is one of the most important things to you. This fits perfectly. Just don't expect it to do more than you're paying for
@@AndroidDigest Okay thanks. I went ahead and ordered it after watching yours and a few other reviews. It sounds pretty perfect for my needs. Just for note taking. The nursing course is a nursing assistant one and I have a laptop if needed for anything else.
@AndroidDigest will this tab work well for running PDFs and Samsung Notes side-by-side? I currently have a Tab A7 Lite so my expectations are pretty low. I mean, basically any other Galaxy Tab currently available is better than this Tab A7 Lite lol.
Lol. Sorry for the way way late response, I was moving, crazy times. But yes, it would do much better than the A7 Lite. Oh my word it's much better haha. But if you can swing it maybe a S7 FE would do a little better. Sometimes you can find an S7 FE used for $250 or $300 in mint condition on Ebay. The S6 Lite 2022 is like $150 on Ebay, but $250 to $300 new. Either one will be a big improvement for you, the S7 FE will be even faster, but don't feel bad if you find a great price on the S6 Lite, it's going to be a big upgrade for you
@@AndroidDigest hello there, no problem with the late reply. I've seen the S7 Lite, and in my economy it's at least DOUBLE the price of the S6 Lite 2022. I also wanted the S6 Lite 2022 cause the update cycle period would sync with my A33 5G. However, the white bleeding on the edge of the S6 display is making me a little concerned... any thoughts?
Yeah double the price is insane. I say buy it from somewhere reputable and see how you like it. An average person won't notice any display bleed. I wouldn't be too concerned personally. But if you buy from somewhere safe you can always return it if need be.
Well, the Tab S8 is $500 right now. That's really one of the only smaller tablets outside of the S6 Lite, especially if you want an spen and decent software support. So I'd say you're either looking at the S6 Lite or the S8. Depending on what you can afford. If you want a smaller tablet you definitely made the right choice
Well I could tell you it should be better than the tab e lite. But it's still not the best screen out.. it's really hard to tell because everyone has different expectations. People coming from higher end devices like the tab s8 Will probably be super disappointed but you on the other hand might think it's decent. I don't have it in front of me to test. So maybe some other people can give some advice here
@@AndroidDigest Well anything is better that the tab E lite, but I'm not sure how high of a standard that Is🤣. Anyway, I'm considering getting an A8 instead, but I'm not sure
Well I do see a 128GB version on Best Buy. Specifically the 128GB version, but I'm not seeing the LTE version anywhere. Sometimes specific carriers make agreements to hold them or specific countries so I could be missing something, but I'm not seeing it
I'd personally go with the S22 standard size just because I like smaller phones. Actually, I before my S22 standard size, I had the S21+. I LOVE having this smaller phone. Battery life, for me, is about the same. BUT, it all depends on the suer of course. And the cameras are much better .
I guess it depends on what you want. The battery life is NOT good on the S22.. it's just not. A terrific phone but 3,700 mAh isn't going to cut it. I just got a steal of a deal on a Flip 4 with the same battery but it at least has a processor that's newer and supposedly much more efficient. And a form factor that helps you to forgive the battery. But i think the battery is a pretty big deal in my opinion. I'd try to get the S22+ honestly if you are wanting a Samsung. Or if you love the idea of a Flip the trade ins are insane for the Flip 4. I bought a Flip 3 for $389 on ebay and traded it for $900. Essentially getting a Flip 5 for $500 after all the costs. Pretty insane deal. Check all the trade ins carefully and ebay and you can maybe pull a similar thing on other phones. But yeah it's a tough call. I love the S22 form factor. Terrific phone. But I was getting 4 hours of screen on time or less. And that will get worse over time I'm sure
I was looking at this. The features are good but I would want to verify the snapdragon processor if I got one, some people in reviews said theirs did not have one for some reason. 2 things turned me off though, the display lighting and the bluetooth 5.0 doesn't seem to support dual audio from what I read, I would want to confirm that though.
That's mainly because some people are probably buying the older version of this tablet. There is an older model and there's the 2022 model. Most of the 2022 models actually have 2022 in the title so that's something to look out for. Yeah I can confirm the dual audio thing. Hopefully you get some answers though
This tab is not worth buying the screen was damaged twice I didn't drop it or anything like that or treat it in a ruff way there just crappy cheap tabs Now I work with a ipad pro which is on a totally different level and worth the money.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I want that in my comments even if they don't always agree with me. iPads, especially the lower end, are good for the money. So I get it
I hear you!! Maybe look on the used market. You might be able to find one. Just keep in mind there's a 2020 model and a 2022 model and it's easy to mix them up if they don't actually clarify it
@@AndroidDigest Thanks. I watched few of your videos abt the 2022 model and had clarity in my mind abt the 2022 model with 720g. Thanks, love and respect from india, bro.
I'm not sure what you mean. If you're trying to bookmark a website in your web browser, you can open up something like Google Chrome and you press the three dots, then there is a star in the right hand corner. If you're talking about bookmarking this video, I guess you could technically do the same if you're watching it on a web browser. If it's on your phone and you want to bookmark this video, you could probably click the share button and then copy it and you could email it yourself or something. But I'm not really sure what you're actually trying to ask for here
Is it good to draw with? I don't feel like buying a super expensive tablet just to draw but I read that it wasn't recommended to draw on android tablets.
How good is it for drawing do you think ? I like to do digital paintings... that I can print A1 size.. or A0 ... while still being high res. Does not specifically have to be 4k.. But I have to be able to do some concept art... on the go.. but also designs for printing tshirts and posters. Do you think I should go for it ? Its driving me crazy. xiaomi and lenovo are charging a ridiculous amount for their pen, its a joke. with an extra pen you are looking at 400.
the only viable option which is strong is the iPad 9. gen (on sale for 300) but only 64gb and without a pen
and the the s6 lite 22 with 64gb (on sale for 240-250) but only 4gb ram, pen included.
@@forsaken7161 I got her the 120 and 8gb
Yep. Your both right. It's a good deal for the price and the mid range is still lacking
Christmas not Xmas, thanks
I've been using it for medical school its a great deal, has good battery life. I sat studying for 20-30 mins and the tabled stayed at 91% ! lol. Great review man!
Thanks! Appreciate the love
When you add the better processor that should help you too! Hope you enjoy it
@@AndroidDigest thanks, got the S6 Lite and really loving the experience..
@@vishnumenon6541 how's the screen?
@@lenacheney it's decent, gets adequately bright. Only fly in the ointment for me is the screen bleed, which seems to have affected the 2022 models. Also HDR is available on RUclips but not on Netflix 😕
How is it so far
I have the old version, and it is a great Tablet price-quality-options, so the new one must be amazing. I don't need big options, I use it for study and office.
It's just a faster version of the old one on newer software! So it's definitely a good tablet!
Damn good 👍
@@AndroidDigest Kindly tell about how many gb of samsung notes i can syn accross the devices as . In older condition it is 15 gb .but what is it now any change .
how do you know if you're getting the old or the new one. i see it on sale for 229 over here
The new ones all have a light fringe on the side
I've been loving this tablet! Got mine last week, even came from an iPad Mini 5. Fits my needs perfectly and the price I got mine for (300 for the 128gb one), could not pass it up.
It's definitely a great deal at that price, especially when you get the s pen with it
@@AndroidDigest I think the bundled S-Pen is the total catch. Not even having to buy a $99 pen just to take digital notes or draw. For that price, almost too good to be true!
Wow, that is a great deal. That's my price for 2020 version just before this new version the US market earlier this year. This is already my 2nd S6 Lite. Best price - performance device on the market!
How is it so far and how would you compare it to the ipad
Honestly, this is my favorite tablet I've ever owned, and I had the Tab S5. I know its not the best tablet, but its just the right balance of price and performance. Just absolutely enjoy it.
It's a great tablet. Pretty underrated especially at the price
My second device is the Note 10 plus witch I still love.

such an honest guy and transparent. love this channel ❤️
Exactly. Pretty good compared to the A8
Thanks for the review!
Exactly. Just find it on sale at Best Buy and get it open box, that's what I did and got it for like $225. Pretty good for a secondary device!
I recently bought one of these. I have heard there is an issue with screen bled, but mine was fine. It is very fast and does the job perfectly. Couldn't be happier.
Very good for the money
Where did you purchase this from? And still no screen bleed? I've heard some have it but some don't.
@@TW--- Bought mine from an eBay retailer. Had it for several months and still no screen bleed.

Thanks! Very glad to help!
It all depends on what you need. My 2020 S6 lite just got android 13. It is fast as lighting and has beautiful graphics. No need for a new tablet anytime soon, but thank you.
The original S6 lite is still really good. And outside of the processor bump, there's not much of an upgrade here
Best way to summarise this tablet is "good enough"
You may want more, and it's gonna be better, but you're really not missing anything with this.
Good thoughts
I have one, and I'm very happy about it, its good product ratio quality price !

Thanks a lot dude ❤️❤️ love from Syria 💙
Thank you for the support!

So I scored big time on that 🙂
You sure it's a SIM slot and not an sd card slot? Either way, great deal!! Hope you enjoy it
@@AndroidDigest Thanks and yes it has a sim / sd card slot. The tray that you eject takes a sim on the 1 side and the SD card on the other side. The first hint I saw was when I powered the tab on for the first time, it had a no sim message on the top right side of the screen. The WiFi only model will not show this notification.
Is it still holding up, or have you encountered any considerable lag over time?
What about the TCL 10 max?

Thank you! I also get the opposite comment sometimes, demanding that I shave it 🤣. So your comment is appreciated
I bought this off Walmart AND added a cover for 17 and the total was 296.
That's a crazy good deal for sure. Especially when you consider the fact that a lot of tablets don't come with a stylus, a lot of them charge like $99 on the side
What about the light bleed 😮💨, it seems that pretty much every 2022 version has it.
I didn't personally see it in my testing... But I wasn't aware of any reports that it was an issue so I wasn't looking hard for it

I want to buy a budget-friendly tablet since I'm going to uni next year, I also want it to make educational video's (screen recording)
Whould recommend this tablet for making educational vidoes's?
@@AndroidDigest Thank you so much for your tips sir! I appreciate it!
Good job, now I understand.

I'm glad it's TFT with my Samsung Tab S6 (2015) (Not 2019) had screen burn in with AMOLED.

Should I upgrade from the 2020 Tab S6 Lite version? -anxiously awaiting your reply in San Francisco
Imma show this review to my mom i want it so baddddd
I'll tell u if she buys it for me😊
I already saved up to 200dollars🎉
Yeah you can get this for $250 when it's on sale sometimes. Plus you can get it cheaper on eBay at times if you buy it used. Just make sure to put 2022 in the title, since their is an older version of this
@@AndroidDigest thank u very much,my mom might pay the rest for me🎉🤭
Also, thank u for your time writing this,i will check ebay too🥨👍👍
very happy with mine tbh, after years of being an overpaying snob. (same with cars, very, very happy with my bright red citroen C1)

I have a 2022, I got it for Writing Books and not for internet use, So after I bought it I keep locked permanently on airplane mode. I will never ever take it off airplane mode. I am trying to use Samsung Notes as a Free Built in Word Processor that i could use it for a lifetime. I know that if I were to ever take it off airplane mode that I could lose all of my important writings with stupid updates, advertising and expiration dates. Plus I don't want the internet to see my personal writings. I don't want to use Microsoft Office or other word processor's because you ether have to pay for them or they blast you with updates that mess things up. Plus I don't want the internet monitoring everything I am writing or doing on my personal Samsung 2022. So my biggest question is;
1- Can I just Bluetooth my Samsung Notes directly to a Printer?

S6 lite it has hardware 10bit hevc support. The a8 does not. Sorry for late reply.
You need the S6 if you want to take notes since the A Series doesn't support the S Pen
Hi! What would you pick between this, lenovo m10 or lenovo p11? I am having such a hard time picking🥲
Just no pen in the box
can you use the mouse and keyboard at the same time if they're both bluetooth?
Yes you can!

Can I connect this tablet to the projector via an HDMI cable? Also what type of charging cable does it come with, type B or C?

But I can't remember if I tested the 2022 model to see if anything changed. I don't currently own this model... I switch devices as I review them. But just a heads up. Sorry I couldn't help more. Can you print without WiFi or internet
Thanks my man
Thank you!
I have the 2020 version I don’t play games just draw and do notes and watch stuff should I upgrade

Hi is it good for med students ?????
I hope you answer me
I mean it's not ideal. Med students probably need to get an actual laptop. If you want to be a dr it would probably be a better investment to get a $500ish laptop. Or to get a Tab S8. But I still can't give a great answer because I have no idea what the needs of a med student would be and what programs they use
does the tab always lag?
For reddit, RUclips and general multimedia apps, it's a grand slam for the price 🤓👍
What about for kids gaming? Like Roblox and Minecraft?
I think it will do just fine for that. It may not play everything on the absolute highest graphics. But it's good
Because of price and functionality, i bought it as an ereader
230 with free keyboard and tempered class?
@@osirusj275 nah, just the tablet

Yeah, I've seen some US models come with that too. They may be doing multiple processors in the same model, either way they are nearly identical.

Absolutely
Does this support Samsung's Dual Audio feature?
Not sure, currently don't have it to test either, sorry I missed that!
I just got s6 lite 2022 version . I thought of getting s7fe but felt it was too big . Is s6 lite the right choice?
Well, the Tab S8 is $500 right now. That's really one of the only smaller tablets outside of the S6 Lite, especially if you want an spen and decent software support. So I'd say you're either looking at the S6 Lite or the S8. Depending on what you can afford. If you want a smaller tablet you definitely made the right choice
@@AndroidDigest then s7fe should have been 11 inches and s8 12 inches respectively. I wouldn't have any confusion !
Yeah it can be confusing. That's for sure
Does this tablet can be connected through mobile data with a simcard?
Yes
Hi, I was just wondering about the viewing angles, I have a Galaxy Tab E lite, and it has the absolute most terrible viewing angles
Does the 2022 edition have 128gb & cellular option?
Well I do see a 128GB version on Best Buy. Specifically the 128GB version, but I'm not seeing the LTE version anywhere. Sometimes specific carriers make agreements to hold them or specific countries so I could be missing something, but I'm not seeing it
Got an open box perfect condition $212.00
That's a great deal
Can someone explain why my s pen on my tab s6 lites tip is gray?
Yesterday it was $229 on Amazon :)
Yep. On sale at a lot of places! I've got some links in the description, not sure if it's still on sale or not
@@AndroidDigest Yes it is available, it went up but went down again in price :D If Black Friday is still at that price I buy it
Headphone jack, dual speakers, microsd port... SOLD!
Great review.. I have a serious question, I found the S21+ and the S22 regular for the same price with a trade in, which one should I get?
I'd personally go with the S22 standard size just because I like smaller phones. Actually, I before my S22 standard size, I had the S21+. I LOVE having this smaller phone. Battery life, for me, is about the same. BUT, it all depends on the suer of course. And the cameras are much better .
@@quitepossiblylucky Thanks for the reply 😀
@@AndroidDigest Thanks for answering back
I have the s22. On 60hz I easily get through the day. If 120hz 4-6 hours. It's the perfect phone at 60hz. I love my s22
pls dont.. mine is already crashing itself..and always stuck on samsung logo..so frustrating
Feel free to share your experience. I never had any of those type of issues but it's okay to be honest about your experiences.
Is it the 2022 version?
For my device in cpuz application it is showing sd732G version
Apparently they've released it with both. It's essentially the same processor I mentioned though. Just a variation of it
I was looking at this.
This tab is not worth buying the screen was damaged twice I didn't drop it or anything like that or treat it in a ruff way there just crappy cheap tabs
Now I work with a ipad pro which is on a totally different level and worth the money.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I want that in my comments even if they don't always agree with me. iPads, especially the lower end, are good for the money. So I get it
Giving that away?? It would do me well for work 🥴🥴
Are you giving away $300? 🤣 Sorry but I'm going paycheck to paycheck like many in these times
@@AndroidDigest 🤣🤣 If I had it sure.
Why aren't you giving anything away ??????
I want one but expensive, I'm in tight budget 😞
I hear you!! Maybe look on the used market. You might be able to find one. Just keep in mind there's a 2020 model and a 2022 model and it's easy to mix them up if they don't actually clarify it
Bro can i get it for 227$, is it good for that price?
It's good for the price, for sure. Especially the 2022 model
@@AndroidDigest Thanks. I watched few of your videos abt the 2022 model and had clarity in my mind abt the 2022 model with 720g.
Thanks, love and respect from india, bro.
I watch sumsung tabs6 on RUclips every day but I can not afford
Please how can I check my processor..?
Should have 613 in the model number and not 610 which is the 2020 model
Just checked mine is 615
@@Yielar1 I was looking for this ! Mine says SM-P613 , I was worried I got the 2020 version today.
How to bookmark
I think it is. No 120hz refresh rate, but you'd have to pay $400+ to get that. So it's one of the best options for the price for drawing
@@AndroidDigest
Thank you. 😊
If I want the ipad 9.. ill have to go for the 258 go version.. ( 64 is just too little, but that one cost 333 euros ) which is 560 euros.. and then I still need the apple pencil .. 100 euros.. and protective accessories.
If I buy the 128 be samsung lite s6 2022 ..
It would kost me 280 euros.
Does anyone know can it support "wireless" dex mode?
I don't think it does to be honest. I think that's reserved for higher end devices. But I'm thinking off memory here. Maybe someone else can chime in
It does now
does the Tab A8 lag?
I have a review on my channel of the Tab A8. Feel free to check that out.. It should have more info there
@@AndroidDigest oh thank you so much
