I have a 0000-28 from the Custom Shop, a 14 fretter. I love the size; the resonance and sustain are amazing. I usually refer to mine as a “fourple-0”, not sure if it’s a real word or not, but it’s what I like to call it. Yours sounds magical. 😎
Tasmanian blackwood has become my favorite tonewood. I have a 2009 Taylor 414ce limited in tasmanian blackwood and it also has a beautiful tone and sustain. It has gotten richer sounding over the years.
Beautiful! Sounds great! I tried a 0000-18 Sinker Mahogany, but it was a little big for my bad shoulder, so I went with an OM. We need more 12 fret guitars!
It has some tonal qualities of Maple - it doesn't have a pronounced bass like Indian Rosewood. The Sitka Spruce top also makes the sound a bit less pronounced in bass response as well.
This is an amazing guitar! Would you include the price of my diverse, or at least allow Quinton to keep and play it until I can safely get my hands on it?
"There are so many beautiful guitars." This is definitely one. My wife has convinced me that I can't own them all. But... This one... I threw myself on the floor, screamed and kicked my legs... Didn't work.
Question for the group, I am highly curious about this guitar but the short scale in this size seems to really take away the volume compared to the other sizes. That big lower bout seems to have a lot of surface area to get moving. Thats what I hear compared to your other 12 fret quad 0 renditions? Still sounds great but sounds less punchy than the 25.34 scale versions. I would be curious what others hear.
This a marvellous guitar. Be careful when playing it, though, because these 0000 with 12th fret joint create overtones galore, and sound almost like a 12-string guitar.
That's why you go mahogany with a 0000, 12 fret, and go something like alpine Spruce. Best of both worlds. Sounds like a big rosewood mix and you get a dread sound in a smaller guitar

Quad-naught?
is this the best guitar you've ever demoed? it's quite amazing in tone, sustain, and aesthetics. damn.
This guitar gave good inspiration to our friend Quentin King...First time I hear a 12 fretter 0000. Sounds neat
Sounding brilliant, Mr Quinton. Both the guitar and your playing.
Wow, it rings out for days, amazing sound and looks killer too!

Lovely! Don't often see a Martin 12 fretter without a slotted headstock.
I have several Martin 12-fret guitars with out of slotted head. I have major troubles restringing a slotted head
I can't see to do so. All Music Villa
@@texhaines9957 Interesting.
Custom orders or stock Martin's?
Tasmania is as beautiful a place as the wood is…you should visit..😎

This guitar I would instantly put my hand in my pocket for with out a second thought. Just superb.
Tempting. Great sound and beauty. Thanks Quinton and Paul.
Lovely sounding guitar
Wow what a stunning Martin! Great review guys!!
Love it...tone has a crystalline quality.
And as per usual..Mr King always makes 'em sing! 😊
I love Quinton’s description of it as a “Leatherman.”
Thanks, Quinton and Paul. Really like my Music Villa Custom Shop 0000-28 with vintage finish and Englemann Spruce top. Thanks.
How about going through all the specs ????????
Amazing Sounding Guitar !! Purdy Too
Big sound without bulky appereance and discomfort of Dreadnought.
It's been a long time until this one's catch my ears.
Excellent...!!
Yeah man.
What a beauty - but I miss the open headstock. Very nice sounding!
Tasmanian Blackwood is also a species of Acacia, makes sense it looks similar to Koa.

@@uvp5000Idk about that with Sitka. Nevrr heard Sitka being less Bassy. Less highs, sure.
Wow!
beautiful! what string gage does it come with?
I love the sound and the looks minus the burst edges and a satin finish would be nice 4:57
Cant believe how that guitar sounds👍
That sold fast.

Tasmanian blackwood is no surprise to Maton players, they've been using it for many years...one of the reason's Maton's sound so good.
Hello may Good mui TOP Martin 0000, No momento qual o Valor/Monei desse Violão?
That sustain is shocking

That's funny. That's what my ex-wife said, too.
The balance is very nice and usable, ah but not free!

Sounds great in DADGAD !
Just here for playin?
Quinton could make a cardboard box sound great.....
Idk sounds a little thin. Great sustain though
