I have been using Excel for over 15 years and I still consider myself a beginner. I recently left my job and am using this “in the meantime” period for professional development courses. Stumbling across your channel was the best professional development gift that I can give me self-a perfect start to 2022!
I just completed your intro course and can see how I’ve wasted a great deal of time. I am a research administrator/analyst and work with data. After watching these video, I can only imagine the amount of time I have wasted. I cannot wait to get to more advance courses on pivot tables, dashboards, etc., which I hope will help me to prepare detailed projections and comprehensive budgets. Obrigada!
Great to hear you found my videos helpful, Tia!
Hi Mynda.. nice quickie Comments/Notes video. Never hurts to review the basics :)) Thumbs up!!
Cheers, Wayne!
This is helpful, but is there a way to keep the comments thread if you move the tab into a new workbook?
I'm pretty sure the comments should follow the sheet, but I haven't tested it.
For threaded comments with multiple comments, I was wondering if there's a way to display them in reverse chronological order - newest comments appearing at the top?
No, unfortunately, there's no way to do that, but you could select the last and then use the 'previous comment' button on the Review tab to move through them in reverse....or just scroll up.
Hello Dear, can we use "Comment" in excel 2021 version? Or is this "Comment" only can be used in office 365?
Yes, it's now available in 2021 too.
Do comments in data tables populate in pivot tables?
No, only data in the cell itself.
what about spell checking comments?
Hi Jesse, you need to open the comment in edit mode and then press F7 to spell check the comment. A bit annoying really!
@@MyOnlineTrainingHub does not work in my excel 365 app for some reason, it only works in my web-based excel 365. Thanks for the reply.
