"Do You Ever Feel Lonely? Because I do." - The Antidote to Loneliness

- It seems a wave of loneliness has swept through many in our world today.
In this video, Lorna Byrne describes how we have loneliness when we are not being our real selves around others. When we shy away from sharing what's on our minds or cover up parts of ourselves, others aren't able to relate to us, and so we are left with only surface-level connections in our relationships.
Lorna tells us about a recent exchange she had with Archangel Michael on the topic of loneliness.
She asked Archangel Michael, "Why would someone be lonely when they have a lot of friends?"
His response, Lorna recounts was, "Because they are not true to themselves, Lorna. They're not being them, they're not speaking of what's on their mind. And when you're feeling lonely... it's a lack of love."
Oftentimes, when we go out and socialise with friends, they might seem uplifted, positive, and energised. Though, beneath it all, they could be feeling lonely too. No one knows until one of us speaks up about it, and asks a question like Lorna advises.
We might say "Hey, there, I'm just wondering, do you ever feel lonely at times? Because I do".
Sharing with one other person the fact we sometimes feel lonely gives us the opportunity to talk about it as well as the many other things we tend not to talk about.
In that conversation with Lorna, Archangel Michael shared that it is spiritually significant we make that connection.
Lorna advises, "... you do have to talk about [these things] because spiritually you need to make that connection - spiritually and humanly, with human beings. And it's like we need to take down ... that veil that we have up, saying how strong we are...".
Lorna explains "If you go out today and you go out with the intention of being a caring, loving person, you will connect to other human beings. Whether they give you a smile or say hello and they're a stranger, or give you a handhold, and open a door, or maybe you're... pushing a supermarket trolley and they move out of the way for you. It's like all these opportunities we have to connect with another human being, to help to take away the loneliness that we feel inside of us."
Remember, it's okay to be lonely, but not all the time.
Because you are not alone.
Lorna recommends saying these very powerful words to yourself - "You are not alone."

We all get great comfort from Lorna! I have no siblings and both parents passed on now. Its just trying to fill the void sometimes can be hard. But thank god for people like Lorna she brings comfort to us. Love her ❤

I think we block love and get lonely because of being disappointed, being traumatized and from being drained by others and used for being a kind person. We get tired, we learn not to trust and we feel we can't be ourselves without being taken advantage of. I wasn't always lonely until I experienced all those things. Now I'm finding your videos and trying to communicate with my guardian angel and learn to love myself, and trust others again. 🙏

I’m 60 and have been alone all my life. Even as a child. I truly believe it’s because God wants the full attention of some of us. We have a higher purpose and it requires deep attention and reflection. People with children and husbands and after school activities and deadlines and family get-togethers have lives, souls and hearts full of busy-ness. While we have nothing to fill our days and nights except a direct connection to God and constant unending reflection.
I do feel a sadness that I haven’t had laughter and children and ballgames and skinned knees and the love of humans. I do have the love of animals and joy in nature.
I would love to have a friend but, at the risk of sounding arrogant, I can’t find people with the very minimum of my human standards.
I met a woman back in 2010 who I thought would be my first real friend in decades. But pretty soon she mentioned how she was using a man for money, and also mentioned she never gives to charity…. So I had to end the friendship. Maybe I expect too much. I can accept people’s (and my) ups and downs and foibles, as long as there’s a foundation of goodness, charity and compassion…. But I can’t find people like that.
I do, however, feel that after a recent but decades-long Karmic lesson…. That God wants to reward me with love and friendship in the final years of my life. I’m hopeful but also Ok if I’m to remain by myself.
Dear Cindy, I am saddened by your comment. However, I admire your dedication and determination to stick to your godly standards. I don’t mean to preach but remember Jesus hung out with sinners. Perhaps part of the Holy Spirit could drip from you onto others you meet. Let your light SHINE….. bring your SALT to other people. Let others see your faith in action as you make new friends. We need examples like you to embrace people who don’t know what faith in action looks like. In Jesus name for Gods glory.

I have many friends that don't believe in God or the other side but I don't befriend them as they do not realize that when their time is done here there is no place to go but back to our beloved Father. I think we have to just keep our light shinning and pray and help them along. I don't use men for money or anyone I give money when and where I can. God knows our hearts. Love to you. I think the more spiritual we become, the more lonely we feel. This is because we are aware that we are physically disconnected from Source, or at least it feels that way. In reality we are always connected to Source but we are not aware of this and the life in this physical form can feel lonely sometimes.

I’ve always been a loner and yet rarely felt Lonely. Until these last few years. I realized recently it is because of society. It’s too busy, crowded, loud, and disconnected. People are in a hurry, there is building on every free space. All these things have made me feel lonely. Because when I used to be alone it was because I enjoyed it… now it’s because I don’t want to be in society.
Thank you for your talk today I’ve never responded before, but here in the USA the surgeon general said we have an epidemic of loneliness in our country right now.
After Covid all the word change, and people are more close. For Lorna is EASY she have Arcangel Michael and Angels and many friends.
People are incarcerated & exiled from nature. Trees, fireflies, wood thrushes, dove, sun & wind & cloud, frog song, stars & moon. People live in decorated, comfortable dungeons, & wonder ehy they & their kids feel bizarre.
But most of the time if I muster up the courage and say what's on my mind / heart, people feel awkward about it, shut it down, give advice too quickly I didn't want or... aren't genuine in return. When I ask them how they feel about stuff they don't answer authentically.
I withdraw because of it and life feels lonely.
True friendship is the most precious thing in my view, but also very rare!

Thanks Lorna. Love the idea of Michael in his jeans and hat. I think this is 100% true, that loneliness comes largely from not being true to oneself. Though it can also be true that being oneself is difficult for OTHERS to process or embrace when it's foreign to them. If one has a small handful of truly trustworthy people in their life, then you're actually doing pretty well.
Yes. You can be as truthful and open and interested and authentic as you want, but when your family and others prefer to talk about the weather and politics and finances and superficial non important things and when they aren't true - you'll be incredibly lonely.
Even one friend or better two -- it's worth more than gold.

so true. That's why ppl don't want to do it! But I think ultimately it's, as she said, speaking your mind and going deeper is worth it and ppl can adjust to your differences eventually. connecting with ppl and being open is so important. Most people I know I feel have no real personality or any thing real to say, it's so sad.
@@ashenflower19 I wish it wasn’t so, but the majority keep themselves hidden. Or they focus more on mundane or trivial aspects instead of going deeper. But if I’m judging them then that’s also a reflection on me. So truly I don’t know what to make of it all. I would like there to be more creativity and openness and less tribalism. But as long as people feel they need to “compete” for resources (which they do, but cooperation works better) then I don’t know when or how things will change.
I'm so very happy to be on this planet while Lorna is here too. It's an honor to follow her and read her Facebook posts and watch her videos. She has opened our eyes to the unseen spiritual realm is a way no one else can do during this time.

I speak my mind and am always straight with people. I have one friend. They are pretty busy with their partner and their kids. I dont have any partner or children. Its really hard.

I met a couple at Cracker Barrel yesterday who were being treated for dinner by their daughter as a celebration of their 72nd wedding anniversary.
It felt good to get out and meet new people. I have to force myself some days but it usually turns out a good choice spreading God's light and love to others.
