See this is why Watari is one of my favorites characters. Even in her goofy nature, she knows when to take things seriously, especially when holding people like Zaki accountable. AS YOU SHOULD QUEEN 👸 💅

(imo) Watari shows why she absolutely deserves to be apart of the school staff this chapter
she might mess around, do silly things like drink (whatever was in chem room), play around as a hotpot ghost or fantasize over Hayashi, but when things get more sensitive or serious she absoutely locks in
Helping Hama after she realized her mistakes in the trial, listening to Okazaki's thought process trying to get on the same page as her (+this vid and the other meeting)
Her and Okazaki are more confidents being school staff together since Okazaki seemed like she was just taunting Tsuno with a petty reason, but stutters justifying themselves to Watari (though that could be a lie too). Watari doesn't outright threaten them but just reprimands Okazaki
(idk, those are my random thoughts)
Okazaki has a point. In a setting like this knowledge is everything and knowing how someone acts under certain scenarios could be life and death.

I’m all for characters with low empathy, but Okazaki is a jerk and enjoys hurting others in addition to having low empathy. I have a bad feeling about how this behavior will impact everyone else.

Anyway, Okazaki scrambling to defend herself was pretty funny.
