    I printed one of these two feet across. Just needs a little smoothing and painting before putting it up on the wall. Love it!

    You sir are a very patient man. I think I would have given up after the first minute and a half of masking! Nice work!

    Very nice job, love your art, but sadly this video i had to watch it mute coz the music is so stressing, perhaps something less noisy for next videos

    When you're masking, how precise are you on lines? I've found when trying to hug an edge it's rather inconsistent and I'm having a hard time keep straight lines.

    • @FilamentForge
      @FilamentForge  6 лет назад

      when trying to hug a edge I like to go over the line and then use a very sharp knife and ruler to cut the masking tape to where it should be. hope this helps

    • @ChunkyJo
      @ChunkyJo 6 лет назад

      A ruler! BLIMEY! How have I never thought of that? Thank you much! I'll give it a shot

    0.2 layer height or 0.02? Seems like it would take weeks at a tenth of the layer height?

    • @FilamentForge
      @FilamentForge  6 лет назад

    Hi all new too 3d printing was grade sand paper you using to do your prints

    • @FilamentForge
      @FilamentForge  6 лет назад +1

      Jim Allen I like to use 80 grit to get rid of layer lines then 120 to smooth and after that high build primer then wet sanded with 800 grit this method gives a good finish
