Nice, it gives a good context just how dynamic and fluid these changing alliances can be in the game. As one alliance can seemingly disappear only to come back stronger or disappear forever.
As it might seem like that, this map is pretty misleading. For true nullsec power groups you need to be looking at a coalition map timelapse, there is more stagnation but still over 20 years there is lots of movement and dynamics at play.

It’s great to see such a high number of players online in EVE Online! The game’s community is truly impressive. With 35,000 players online and 34,000 views, it shows how engaged and active the player base is
Wrong, that shows number of active clients running. It's far less 😂 you have some multiboxer players playing like 12 accounts or more at once. one player running those accounts will be counted as an additional 12 online at the start screen when in reality it's really not
@@R3APER50 - From your experience. Can I buy another PC Tower for EVE online? I have one tower but I want another account on a different PC. not as a bot.
@ravendouglas8506 Eula rules prohibit running multiple clients that are an alpha clone state for the same person. Clients must be omega if its more then one. Not every system is worth the time and resources / pirates and independent players may be using the areas / they may be neutral hubs due to agreements. If it's in the centre of their control they probably have structures and some form of control without holding sovereignty.
It's the least safe and most lawless region of the game, it is called null sex aka no security. The other regions actually have ai factions controlling all the systems but also inside those AI factions are the human factions you see here. Those regions are called high sec aka high security as AI's would find and kill you of you kill any other players in those regions.
Just a question haven't played the game or anything but why is there like just a huge amount of space in the middle untaken is it like an NPC faction or something stopping players from claiming?
How is territory taken anyway? Ive never been to null sec and am pretty new. Does x alliance have to take out enemy stations and build their ones or what?
originally it was who owned the most starbases (POS, distinct from stations) in a system (which there can only be a limited number of, since its 1 per moon) but then it was replaced by infrastructure hubs which need to be anchored if there isn't one already, or captured if there is.
This got to my recomendations,i did heard bit and pieces of the game but never understood even the basics, sounds "fun" guilds/alliances fight each other for the control of the whole map i think i just have some questions Why the center was left alone all this years? It was like free for all or there were pacts and coalitions within the game?
Because that's the high security area for new players and others to play safely. The places under control are no security/null sec where you can be killed or kill without the concord police coming after you which they would if you killed anyone in a high security area (middle section)
The cops own that spot to protect general commerce and new players. The alliance controlled territories are generally low or null security so they don't have to run from the wee-woos when things get interesting.
That area is patrolled by NPCs called CONCORD ("cops") who prevent players from attacking each other. It's so that the space can remain neutral ground, relatively safe for new players and easier to engage in commerce.
the middle never gets taken because it is npc space and cannot be owned by players. please stop asking.
