    Will welding a gate on the turbo cause any power loss ?

      Like anything else, you can do it well and you can do it poorly! If done correctly, it works quite well for boost control without making a mess of the flow through the turbine housing. If done poorly, you can have awful boost control resulting in creep, you can have terrible flow through the housing causing poor power output, etc.

      We ran the original prototype one on our white truck (budget truck build videos) when it was originally being designed. We've had a ton of folks run this on gmt400/800/900, colorados, etc though with good results.@@renegonzalez7391
