BananaRaccoon Hehe, well i still feel bad for not really having supported you during that :p but I really didn't want any chance of burnout... WOD beta got me burned out BAD on wod
Hey man nice vid, right now I am running [Blood cent] [wild charge] [resto] [Bash] [soul of the forest] [jagged wounds] [brutal slash], I open rake shred tiger into 6 point rip then bash into brutal slash then just berserk and spam shred in bite for 1v1 and to cleave I just thrash before I brutal slash and in any BG I am always top damage by a long shot.... I feel that [soul of the forest] lets you keep up that constant pressure with the energy refunds, I really love this build.
In your savage roar opening, i think you switched places of RIP and BSlash. If you have 5 cpoints, why gather more, you probably ment to finish with: 6. Rip ( version 2: stun finisher) 7. Brutal slash *3 ( for 5 cps with 2 leftovers from EG) 8. Ferocious Nibble ( version 2:rip) Do you have a problem with using those ticking combo points before they overcap due to globals and latency? I do. Do you have a tactic dealing with this? Great vid. I hope you keep publishing feral videos even if you go lock. :D
It's called TrufiGCD :). I mainly use it so I can show people what abilities I'm using and when I'm using them on my stream. Thanks for the sub, welcome to the channel! :D
Dearest BananaRaccoon, I've played a Feral since BC and this is the first time I'm not satisfied with the output from cat form. The old "Cat is 4 fite" seems to lack much of the versatility the older builds contained within the spells and rotations. Since I do mostly PVP and light PVE, and honestly since you are one of the (maybe) three people whose opinion I trust in this matter, would switching to a different build until end-game (110) make a difference? Or just tough it out until the rest of the build becomes unlocked? As always, thanks for the videos and intelligent gameplay guides - you've always got a subscriber and friend.
@bananaracoon I noticed you tiger's fury after applying rake. Isnt it better to pop TF before applying stealth rake as it deals more damage than rip currently when applied from stealth with the bonus damage ^^
great vid thx, helped me alot because im willing to play a druid for pvp in legion :-) i have a question: is it possible to make a vid from the defense line a little bit in detail? because im struggle when i dont have the opener and i dont can setup that start rotation. i have seen some older vids but in those vids alot ppl use cyclone etc but in legion some talents are gone...cheers
Wouldn't using the bear affinity be more useful in 3s? Considering when I do them in a premade group, I seem to be the number one target about 85% of the time. Mained a boomkin for a long time w/resto offspec for casual 2k rbgs, but I felt that as I just got used to the swaying bar in WoD, they up and changed it again lol so I picked up feral and actually quite loving it. And one last thing would using the energy regen on finishers be good for swapping on targets faster?
disagree regarding the viability of SotF. It is providing a ton of energy at the moment, letting me weave in a ton of FB while keeping Rip up with JW applied. Better damage than SR is doing.
Do you ever use Maim? Or is that a purely situational skill? It would seem to me that an additional 5 second stun to let those bleeds tick would be useful.
what are your thoughts on Sabertooth? I know you mentioned you think the other 2 lvl 90 talents are better, but I find I can focus more of my energy on other abilities while always having Rip up by using Ferocious Bite as my finisher.
Sabertooth is good to keep up a fully-snapshotted rip but otherwise it's useless. Ferocious Bite doesn't do much damage and isn't really worth being used most of the time.
Another Great Guide to help get back into Legion. I do have a question that I'd like to get your opinion on, do you think Feral will still be running with same comps in Arenas? I'm still a little new to finding class partners. Thanks!
Can you go in specific for class matchups. I struggle against hunters in duels/ arenas because they sit on a flare and i don't get an opener and then they seem to kite me to eternity even if i have sprint and leap to them after they disengage.
Lol.. I'm facing the SAME problem haha... When they disengage i was thinking Wild charge and then a stun right after would probably work.. as for the flare with no opening.. i feel your pain lol
What I've been doing against flare is stampeding roar and just pop incarnation if you got it because you need the lock down.use survival instinct before they stun and be careful of DR. Save leap for disengage etc.my main issue is that bm does so much damn damage with their pet that it seems like a race against time.
Oooh.. that sounds really good for flares.. i'll have to try that. I'll be dualing a hunter i know for a while right now.. hopefully i can come up with some sort of winning rotation/formula lol
I've been using blood talons soul of forest and jagged wounds in BGs. Getting tiger fury blood talon rips and takes seems to be very strong . thoughts? I also take lunar inspiration to kite while bleeds are up
The level 60 talents seem very situational, as feral you have a 10 second cd stun which when used properly in arena make good for peels on its own, with the root and knock back situational again...
wow, just thinking about savage roar tiger fury brutal slashes makes me wana lock feral in as main, im still so undecided I mained resto druid last expo but I wana go damage and have warrior rogue druid and mage at 100... if they don't nerf druids im liking the odds of maining feral. best thing so far is that feral with restoration affinity feels and plays a lot like Vanilla Druid and man do I miss that.....
First, thank u bro, waiting for that guide. rly thanks Banana, i personally tested Feral deep in this new patch. I fell so incomplete without the honor talents and artifact, But somehow i managed a insane damage on bgs doing : Savage roar (5CB) = instant Healing touch = blood talons buff. I aply rip and rake with the both buffs. Thats a insane dmg man, later on i just thrash and switch the target or if needed, start shreeding. and renoving rake. If savagae roar is still up i use main most, Bite seems WEAK as FUCK. For arenas, i use exactly what you are using. :) But i didnt like the idea of brutal slash be stronger than a ferocius bite. This is ridiculous. Toughts?
You're welcome :). Yeah, Blood Talons is really strong for the bleeds! And, it is weird that Brutal Slash is our hardest hitting ability (over Ferocious Bite) but it is just a pre-patch and everything is balanced for 110 with artifact weapons.
If you Rake from stealth it stuns and deals 200% damage instead of 140% after you HT. If you want to increase the damage on one target I reckon you should take incarnation of the jungle and: IJ -> EG -> FB -> HT -> Rake -> Rip IJ gives you Rake as if you were stealthed and the BT buff, not sure if thats 240% increaded dmg in rake, you get Rip with the BT buff and a FB with the stealth buff and extra energy buff, since you will be at +50 energy, which makes the FB deal 250% dmg (or more, donno about the stacking of dmg buffs). You lose the 25% dmg buff on Rip but gain a 100% dmg buff on Rake. Did I get that right? Just switched to feral and am still reading through spells. Training dummy tests with not optimal gear: Rake ticks -> 6x unbuffed: 5.2k -> 31.2k stealth: 10.5k -> 63k stealth+BT: 14.7k -> 88.2k Savage Roar+BT: 9.2k -> 55.2k (there is no SR+BT+stealth opener usually since HT breaks stealth) Rip 5cp ticks -> x12 unbuffed: 4.6k -> 55.2 SR: 5.8 -> 69k SR+BT: 8.1k -> 97.2k Bite 5cp unbuffed: 10k +25 energy: 20k JK build opener: 88.2k rake + 55.2k rip + 20k bite = 163.4k SR build opener: 55.2k rake + 97.2k rip = 152.4k However, Savage-Roar build isn't reliant on a 3 minute CD and increases damage beyond the opener. The other one offers a vanish effect and increases shred damage by 50% and doubles the crit chance which gives more CP in the burst window right after the opener. So I guess for BGs the SR build is more reliant but for Arena the Jungle Kind could be better as it offers a higher damage window and you don't lose CP while not being able to attack (as SR will run out without you benefiting from it). Jagged Wounds would probably be more interesting in BGs where most of the druids damage comes from bleeds caused by Rake and Thrash (I assume), as they are more readily applied than Rip when switching targets. But is that what you really want? DPS increase but you'll be running around in circles.. maybe just thrash and rip people while having SR up and stuning people with the rest of the CP. The odd rip on healers you want to pressure.
Razzfazz87 U just forgot something really important. U can use Elunes guidance instead of JW, wich means you can open with SR + BT + STEALTH And aplly RIP and RAKE with maximum buffs, tigers fury is out this time, but you can even maximise this doing: 1. Cast healing touch for BT 2. Elune guidance = 5 CP 3. SR 4. stealth 5. Rake (+165% = stealth + SR + BT) 6. Tigers fury 7. Elune guidance will refound you 4 CP + 1, from rake 8. Rip 5 CP (+80% TF + BT + SR) 9. thrash (SR + TF) Thats the maximum dmg overtime and pressure u can put to a single target in 4, 5 secconds. I use this on bg.
Strangething Ebele Well, you will be in combat by the time you hard-cast healing touch which is why I excluded it as an option because it's based on your enemies being occupied otherwise. You can't do it in arena or when catching stragglers in BGs. It's based on luck whether you get the stealth back or not. Obviously it's the strongest option, but it's a rare one.
are you serious man? then what the heck was that? also, just wanna say, you're nucking futs on the druid man. like it's crazy. You online right now by chance?
There is no set time to activate Incarnation, which is why I left it out. The best and easiest way I can put it, activate Incarnation when you want to do more damage.
I have been using Elune's Guidance + Savage Roar up until today. Elune's Guidance is good PvP wise if your running with Savage Roar, giving you a chance to open with a full Savage Roar. I think I'll be running either Soul, Jagged, BS OR Blood Talons from now on. While Savage Roar is amazing single target, its pretty bad if you have to be switching targets constantly (This is true PvP, and PvE). If you feel that Soul, and Elune's Guidance works best for you then go with it! "Before I give suggested builds it's really important to keep in mind a few things. First off try not to focus on what highest Sim'd dps talents are. The Feral rotation can be a bit unwieldy and mistakes cause a significant drop off in damage. Picking talents which you are comfortable playing will likely result in more DPS than “the highest simming build”. - Wowhead Feral Guide.
Can you do a video or direct me to a video explaining the more complex part of feral Druid play? Used my legion boost on a feral Druid who will be my main and I'm trying to learn the class
When it comes to how you heal and when you back off, that's not really feral specific as it's just general PvP awareness. However, you will generally be wanting to go into bear-form against melee classes as they're about to stun and burst you or when you need that extra damage mitigation.
banana, please rate this opener/burst. so, what I was thinking: use elunes guidance , then savage roar. use rake/shred till 5 cp, tigers fury, berserk , then hit too and it'll drain their health like nuts. then after that you can just finish with rake/shred and then a feel bite at 5 cp.
Anyone else having problems with "/cast !cat form"? Doesn't seem to work anymore. For example, when I'm in cat form and I get slowed, I pressed "/cast !cat form" macro and it would immediately take me out of cat form and put me back into cat form with 1 button press. Now it takes 2 presses, and GCD interferes.
I don't think it sucks, I think it was a much needed change. You are pretty much still inmune to it, since being in cat and shifting to bear and back to cat doesn't put you in any danger whatsoever...
Aleksander Bodolai its annoying the reason why i love feral druid was its mobility aside from bleed damage ! they are always changing feral druid its been my main since bc
Hey so im coming back after a long time, which addons is needed for feral druid? i just DL deadlybossmods what else do i need that will make my life better? Specifically ones that will tell me that savage roar and other things are up. Thanks man good tips. PS should i add in beserk into the rotation?
ur gonna get a much easier burst window in arena with incarnation, however it depends on who u play with. I can see feral affliction warlock pretty nice pressure with a decent aoe bleed spec.
Stats are pre-determined and enchants don't work in PvP so it's kind of irrelevant. But it's versatility>mastery>crit>haste and enchant for versatility or mastery.
how is the bleed dmg working now? if i use tigers fury does it improve the already applied bleeds or do I need to reapply them in order to get the higher dmg?
yea i tried sadly it didn't work i talked to a gm about it and he said its a issue that will continue because of how the tree is since it is pre patch but he did say they are working on a fix
I have a completely different build to this, it's is pretty incredible for everything and i've been topping most situations and for 1v1's it's pretty much impossible to lose unless you're up against a lock. Idk if i should release it, it's damn OP
Renewal over wild charge for arenas. You can be taking heat and be down to 100k hp, pop your trinket, sprint and heals back up to 400k within a few seconds. You don't need wild charge to stick to your target if you have roots and moonfire. Nothing can kite you.
BananaRaccoon Lol all good. One thing i'm finding is that with this patch it seems as if there is a few viable options for builds unlike other patches where there's only 1 way to play the class. Not sure if that's just for the druid, but damn i'm fucking shit up in arenas atm.
I read brutal slash as more a PvE ability for 5mans etc and went with moment of clarity. I had no idea it done this much damage. Time to respec I guess. Love the vids. Former Rogue about to turn Feral! 👍
+Daniele Furetto outlaw has shit mobility. Sub is decent. Assassination too. But they are so squishy. The crimson vial heal is a joke and I get Rekt through Feint. Other similar classes just seem better and more fun, like ww monk and esp Feral. Just what I prefer atm. You actually stand a chance of survival as feral vs 2v1.
+Fancy Clouds useless while stealthed. Guess I prefer the Stealth gameplay better than the open combat. Just found myself waddling around the bg in Stealth a lot. The hook is cool n all but I still prefer shadowstep. I'll maybe give it another chance. The combat was perfectly fine on a target dummy with good dmg but definitely felt they lacked something in the bg. I'll give it another chance tho. Maybe just need to adapt to the new outlaw playstyle.
Hey thanks, also I need some improvements to my hotbar ima new player and I didnt want to lvl my acc to 100 so i boosted it therefor idk were to put my spells on my hot bar for feral druid this is what it looks like maybe you can help me out with that ?? link to screen shot of hotbar : prntscr.com/c7ngge
That's just a burst damage rotation. There are many more intricacies in duels. You have to keep dueling until you know exactly what the enemy class can do and then learn how to anticipate what they are going to do. Once you can anticipate what moves they will use, you just have to think about what you can do to either not let them use the move, or figure out how to avoid certain moves. Also, you have to learn which moves are most important for you to either 5 sec stun, or just spell interrupt. Each class you have to approach with a different mindset. Just keep dueling and learning your enemies! (P.S.- It helps to have good gear too ;) )
How are you getting 50k avrage and 80k crit from Brutal slash? im 410 pvp gear and for me its 50k avrage crit and the HP pool of people in pvp aint 360k its 540k
Yes i agree, but when no haveing savage roar as you clearly dont have in the talents shown in the interface but incarn while explaining, you say your abel to to do 80k BS and thats why i asked. If your doing that with SR then its not clear enough for me atleast, that your doing this with SR. Thats why i put a time stamp.
hey qeustion does armour scale now? cause my main is a boomy but if ill swap to feral will i do the same dmage whit int gear as whit agility gear? or do i need to farm the agility gear also
First of all well done with the video, Second i main Feral since BC and now when 7.0.3 hit i find him so low in dps as most agreed in my guild/chat.I have same build and 710ilvl and believe me i cant kill a single enemy now, before prepatch hit i was devouring anyone, now nothing..Do actually Ferals sucks in your opinion?
I speak clearly after 7.0.3 pre-patch becuse before this patch i was too on top dps and i could easily kill 1v2 even. But now i (plus some guild members ferals) cant do much like we could before..
I would argue that Wild Charge is by far the second best talent on that level. I've played a ton of arena games and I think Renewal was more useful overall. The only time I saw that wild charge is better is when there is a frost mage on enemy team or Marksman Hunter. Since they can kite pretty well. Other than that, since feral no longer have a massive heal like the one they did in Warlords, Renewal far better. You don't need wild charge if everybody is on you.
This build is strictly Duels and 2s. in 3s, this both builds simply do not hold up for high uptime with the current damage Meta that Feral can sit in ( FLS ) . Moment of Clarity and Soul of the Forest are mandatory for 3s. Without them, Feral feels very lackluster. 24 Second duration on Savage roar makes it an obsolete ability with jagged wounds, u will find yourself CONSTANTLY trying to reapply and reup savage roar that you will not be able to pump out any maims, or bites.
Ferocious Bite does not much more damage than a shred crit so is almost pointless at the moment. I initially thought that SotF would be the way to go for 3s but after a lot of testing, if played correctly SR does the most output and pressure.
This really needs to be tested when Legion goes live at 110, but I'm not sure this build will hold up in something like 3s, where the name of the game is CC & Burst. While feral LOOKS like it has a lot of damage, we need to see how it scales to see its viability in cleaves. If it is not viable (due to other classes simply being better.), the only viable comp for it would be like FLS, maybe Jungle, both of which require sustained damage & CC spam ( this is where maim is really the highlighted ability. ) Without Moment of Clarity AND soul of the forest, every single 5 point combo has to be rotated between rip and savage roar due to the jagged wounds build. This build does look interesting for cleaves but with our massive pruning in CC's, I'm not sure ferals hold up for the cleaves now as Cyclone was just such a core ability that was required
I have been testing a lot on the Legion beta (playing against a lot of multi-r1s like Cdew, Venruki etc.) and the build I found most viable was the SR+EG+BS. As feral CC has been pruned we are literally a damage bot right now. If you use this build correctly, you will be able to use Maim on cooldown. On top of that, BS hits harder than FB and costs almost no energy. Spamming BS during burst opportunities seems to dish out a lot of pressure. When it comes to FLS, it'll be hard to rip multiple targets but generally in FLS, you will keep rakes up on every target and then rip on your main target and if you can, on a second target. (My xp playing FLS is 3100MMR last season). I think SotF and MoC will be a viable build but myself and other high-rated ferals are finding SR+EG+BS the best build currently.
If you want insane dots go for savage roar and aply rip and rake with bloodtalons up. Thats the maximum u can get with these two bleeds. For more, just aply thrash and switch targets.
Big Black Donger if you manage the jagged wound speeds and maintain rip and rake up WITH SAVAGE ROAR, u gain 25% more dmg, its insane. Plus we dont need to wast CB with Ferocius Bite, its too weak now. Its hitting almost like a shreed
You aren't completely wrong with wanting to go Soul of the Forest, I know PvE wise they don't want you running SR when you are constantly switching targets (SR is only truly awesome when it is a pure single target situation), this may be the same for PvP. While SR does give you insane overall damage increase, it isn't always good in every situation, especially now that it has a higher energy cost + lower up time. This is the most perfect sentence that sums it up, this is from Wowhead, "Before I give suggested builds it's really important to keep in mind a few things. First off try not to focus on what highest Sim'd dps talents are. The Feral rotation can be a bit unwieldy and mistakes cause a significant drop off in damage. Picking talents which you are comfortable playing will likely result in more DPS than “the highest simming build”.
I will be doing a full guide when Legion is released going over everything, including macros :). I do have a macro guide on my channel from WoD that is still relevant to 7.0.3 though if you want to see that.
Short, on the point, but with mostly all of the necessary informations. Thx for the guide, really helped me out!
Thanks so much for the prompt guide. Keep up the good work!
As a feral coming back after a long break this has helped me a lot.. Cheers.
RIP claws of shirvallah
im new at wow, this helped me so much, keep it up! u earned a new sub
I'm glad I could help :). Thanks for the sub and welcome to the channel.
Obama Bin Laden brokeback
whats the name of that addon where it shows the floating skills?
good to be able to watch your videos again : ) deffinetly will keep up now, and watch some of the previous ones too heh
Welcome back :P.
BananaRaccoon Hehe, well i still feel bad for not really having supported you during that :p but I really didn't want any chance of burnout... WOD beta got me burned out BAD on wod
The beauty of Druids
finally a guide that dosnt last 20mins. thanks very helpful
nice this is the exact build and rotation I'm using but this vid helped me confirm this is the spec/rotation to be using :)
Love your work BR :)
always a nice video and guide^^ thank you
Thanks nice guide help me a lot
i would love to see the rotation be explained some more,
Maybe duel or show it slower
Thanks dude this helped me a lot :)
Glad it helped :).
Thaank you! :D
Great guide learned a loy

how do i get to pandaria?
become pandaren
+GrimStone lmao
you get there once you hit lvl 85.
With a quest
be my mentor! I'm learning the feral ways now!
What addon are you using to track your bleeds?
In your savage roar opening, i think you switched places of RIP and BSlash. If you have 5 cpoints, why gather more, you probably ment to finish with:
6. Rip ( version 2: stun finisher)

Great vid. I hope you keep publishing feral videos even if you go lock. :D
Thanks for pointing that out. It was a typo that I didn't see in editing :/.
Thanks a lot for bringing the quide out so quick! Question, is it just me or does Ferocious Bite feel way less powerfull?
it has been nerfed :( i think 35% less dmg if im not wrong.
hi banana what's the mod that scrolls through the spells in the middle of your stream? thanks for your time! liked and subbed
It's called TrufiGCD :). I mainly use it so I can show people what abilities I'm using and when I'm using them on my stream. Thanks for the sub, welcome to the channel! :D

Dont forget artifacts, and honor talents. Couple of more spells/passives
Hey bud :). When we get to 110, our output is amazing!
Hey, I have a question. I notice energy regenerates extremely slowly... It seems tedious to work around.
@bananaracoon I noticed you tiger's fury after applying rake. Isnt it better to pop TF before applying stealth rake as it deals more damage than rip currently when applied from stealth with the bonus damage ^^
Doing that would make you lose out on gaining 60 rage.
why did you change your mind about Brutal Slash? In a previous video you said its terrible
great vid thx, helped me alot because im willing to play a druid for pvp in legion :-) i have a question: is it possible to make a vid from the defense line a little bit in detail? because im struggle when i dont have the opener and i dont can setup that start rotation. i have seen some older vids but in those vids alot ppl use cyclone etc but in legion some talents are gone...cheers

I think FLS and FPS will be the best feral comps in Legion :). FMP could be good too!
Cheers!
Did u use a Weaks aura for show your "spell" on CD and big? Sry for my english is very bad ^^
Okay so do we pop incarn on our opener?
What addon do you use to see the cooldowns better and bigger?
Weakauras 2.
I've learned so much about feral from you haha I was only one talent off from what you put!! have you tried warrior?
I haven't tried warrior yet. Only played feral.
+BananaRaccoon warriors fun but I play both haha
i dont get it, if i burst like this, is there a standard rotation?
stat priority? i have a idea what i want to know is what you think? crit mastery vers haste
Can you go in specific for class matchups. I struggle against hunters in duels/ arenas because they sit on a flare and i don't get an opener and then they seem to kite me to eternity even if i have sprint and leap to them after they disengage.

Against flare, you want to wild charge and spam your rake until it lands. Usually, your rake will go off before the flare takes you out of stealth.
is theres a certain range i should wild charge at because i seem to get flared out of stealth before rake consistently
Not done any testing, but are you sure snapshotting still works? It got removed from warlocks at the start of WoD.
Snapshotting has never been removed from ferals.
banana hello could you tell me the priority stats of the feral Druid for pvp? mastery>versatility>haste>critic?
Stats are automated in PvP but if you're talking about world PvP, probably versa>mastery>crit
did vers stop being best stat?
I'm a long time feral druid player as well..which addon shows our bleeds in the bottom left corner like that the big icons?
So we need to priorize brutal Slash because the damage is high right? have u macros sempai?
Hey banana what should my avg dps be at lvl 100 for feral?
I've been using blood talons soul of forest and jagged wounds in BGs. Getting tiger fury blood talon rips and takes seems to be very strong . thoughts? I also take lunar inspiration to kite while bleeds are up
Yeah, it's a good build :).
wow I ive been doing exactly this since the patch lanched... I must be getting better at feral...
***** true but I only started feral like 3 month ago
But these talents and all the class changes went live like less than a week ago
***** hey I didn't start anything until this keyboard warrior decided to come along.
The level 60 talents seem very situational, as feral you have a 10 second cd stun which when used properly in arena make good for peels on its own, with the root and knock back situational again...
is there a new form hop macro to get rid of slows? the old one isnt working now
Unfortunately not. Powershifting was removed :(.
wow, just thinking about savage roar tiger fury brutal slashes makes me wana lock feral in as main, im still so undecided I mained resto druid last expo but I wana go damage and have warrior rogue druid and mage at 100... if they don't nerf druids im liking the odds of maining feral. best thing so far is that feral with restoration affinity feels and plays a lot like Vanilla Druid and man do I miss that.....
it is back! dont know if its a bug, but its working for now :
/use !Cat Form
any good macros that help would help?
First, thank u bro, waiting for that guide. rly thanks
Banana, i personally tested Feral deep in this new patch.
BananaRaccoon Good, should we use Brutal slash for all biulds than huh? Gj at stream today.
If you Rake from stealth it stuns and deals 200% damage instead of 140% after you HT.
If you want to increase the damage on one target I reckon you should take incarnation of the jungle and:
IJ -> EG -> FB -> HT -> Rake -> Rip
IJ gives you Rake as if you were stealthed and the BT buff, not sure if thats 240% increaded dmg in rake, you get Rip with the BT buff and a FB with the stealth buff and extra energy buff, since you will be at +50 energy, which makes the FB deal 250% dmg (or more, donno about the stacking of dmg buffs).
You lose the 25% dmg buff on Rip but gain a 100% dmg buff on Rake.
Did I get that right? Just switched to feral and am still reading through spells.
Training dummy tests with not optimal gear:
Rake ticks -> 6x
unbuffed: 5.2k -> 31.2k
stealth: 10.5k -> 63k
stealth+BT: 14.7k -> 88.2k
Savage Roar+BT: 9.2k -> 55.2k
(there is no SR+BT+stealth opener usually since HT breaks stealth)
Rip 5cp ticks -> x12
unbuffed: 4.6k -> 55.2
SR: 5.8 -> 69k
SR+BT: 8.1k -> 97.2k
Bite 5cp
unbuffed: 10k
+25 energy: 20k
JK build opener:
88.2k rake + 55.2k rip + 20k bite = 163.4k
SR build opener:
55.2k rake + 97.2k rip = 152.4k
However, Savage-Roar build isn't reliant on a 3 minute CD and increases damage beyond the opener.
U can use Elunes guidance instead of JW, wich means you can open with SR + BT + STEALTH And aplly RIP and RAKE with maximum buffs, tigers fury is out this time, but you can even maximise this doing:
1. Cast healing touch for BT
2. Elune guidance = 5 CP
3. SR
4. stealth
5. Rake (+165% = stealth + SR + BT)
6. Tigers fury
7. Elune guidance will refound you 4 CP + 1, from rake
8. Rip 5 CP (+80% TF + BT + SR)
9. thrash (SR + TF)
Thats the maximum dmg overtime and pressure u can put to a single target in 4, 5 secconds.
Obviously it's the strongest option, but it's a rare one.
ehh, any thoughts on which relics are the best?
Not too sure at the moment.
What addon was he using to make the attacks scroll across the screen similar to CLC_RET?
I don't use any addons.
are you serious man? then what the heck was that? also, just wanna say, you're nucking futs on the druid man. like it's crazy. You online right now by chance?
so when do i activate incarnation? you dont mention this.
There is no set time to activate Incarnation, which is why I left it out. The best and easiest way I can put it, activate Incarnation when you want to do more damage.
is soul and elunes not viable? the sustain dmg would be insane? + fast paced and fun
The Feral rotation can be a bit unwieldy and mistakes
cause a significant drop off in damage. Picking talents which you are comfortable playing will likely result in more DPS than “the highest simming build”. - Wowhead Feral Guide.
So druids have good survivability?!
Yeah, it's alright :).
imo they have really high survivalist, having swiftmend as a 'offspec' heal is just nuts, instant cast HUGE heal
What's the addon called that shows which abilities you've recently used? Like on the middle of your screen.. :)
TrufiGCD
Was Brutal Slash nerfed? It feels really weak now.
Yes it is only 30k now vs 180k as shown in this video
What addons are you using?
Weakauras :).
Can you do a video or direct me to a video explaining the more complex part of feral Druid play? Used my legion boost on a feral Druid who will be my main and I'm trying to learn the class
Like the healing during battle and when it's good to go bear form for a quick second or back off the enemy. Those types of things
When it comes to how you heal and when you back off, that's not really feral specific as it's just general PvP awareness. However, you will generally be wanting to go into bear-form against melee classes as they're about to stun and burst you or when you need that extra damage mitigation.
Wait, they brought back Snapshotting?
yes
Snapshotting was never removed for ferals (other than trinket snapshotting, that was removed).
when it shows the bleeds on your enemy i how do you make it show a timer like the count down it only shows the bleeds but not the timer counting down
It's an option in the standard UI :).
banana, please rate this opener/burst.
so, what I was thinking: use elunes guidance , then savage roar. use rake/shred till 5 cp, tigers fury, berserk , then hit too and it'll drain their health like nuts. then after that you can just finish with rake/shred and then a feel bite at 5 cp.
*fero
Anyone else having problems with "/cast !cat form"? Doesn't seem to work anymore. For example, when I'm in cat form and I get slowed, I pressed "/cast !cat form" macro and it would immediately take me out of cat form and put me back into cat form with 1 button press. Now it takes 2 presses, and GCD interferes.
I think Blizz doesn't want you to do that anymore. Shifting in/out of any form triggers GCD.
ya i know it fucking sucks ! but if you look into 110 honor talents theres a talent where stampeding roar breaks roots snares etc
They still have amazing mobility and are inmune to polymorph though. I just recently leveled a feral to 100 and I am loving it!
I would to ask you to do author guide that teach us how to escape and when do we use the insta healing thanks for the guide it was helpful :)
stat prio for the pre patch?
Versatility>Crit/Mastery>Haste
Hey so im coming back after a long time, which addons is needed for feral druid? i just DL deadlybossmods what else do i need that will make my life better? Specifically ones that will tell me that savage roar and other things are up. Thanks man good tips.
PS should i add in beserk into the rotation?
Is savage roar better than incarnation?
imo incarn is better, but they are pretty equal
ur gonna get a much easier burst window in arena with incarnation, however it depends on who u play with. I can see feral affliction warlock pretty nice pressure with a decent aoe bleed spec.
ok mate and now please best enchants armour and weapon please haste ?
Stats are pre-determined and enchants don't work in PvP so it's kind of irrelevant. But it's versatility>mastery>crit>haste and enchant for versatility or mastery.
What about pvp gear? Is it better to get crit gear (e.g. dragonhide helm) than versatility (e.g. headcover) now?
You could wear white gear and it wouldn't matter, It's like GW2 now, everything is normalized.
how is the bleed dmg working now? if i use tigers fury does it improve the already applied bleeds or do I need to reapply them in order to get the higher dmg?
You will need to reapply them.
For some reason i dont have savage roar. i have the exact same talents but nothing help
Have you talented into it? If you have, drag and drop Savage Roar onto your bars from the talent tree tab.
yea i tried sadly it didn't work i talked to a gm about it and he said its a issue that will continue because of how the tree is since it is pre patch but he did say they are working on a fix
Willi4m1000 Can you make a macro? /cast Savage Roar
it worked thanks
in the rotation 6 and 7 have to change place, rip first then 3x of brutal s
Ima tauren and new to wow does this matter in PVP?
I have a completely different build to this, it's is pretty incredible for everything and i've been topping most situations and for 1v1's it's pretty much impossible to lose unless you're up against a lock.
Idk if i should release it, it's damn OP
With these specs you can smash anything including a lock if you know how to play. Raccoons rotation is a bit off though
Renewal over wild charge for arenas. You can be taking heat and be down to 100k hp, pop your trinket, sprint and heals back up to 400k within a few seconds.
You don't need wild charge to stick to your target if you have roots and moonfire. Nothing can kite you.
+James Watts Just watched this video back and realised I said the right rotation but the written bit is wrong... Woops XD.
BananaRaccoon Lol all good. One thing i'm finding is that with this patch it seems as if there is a few viable options for builds unlike other patches where there's only 1 way to play the class.
Not sure if that's just for the druid, but damn i'm fucking shit up in arenas atm.
+BananaRaccoon it's all good.
You actually stand a chance of survival as feral vs 2v1.
shit mobility? what? the hook dude! the slows and ranged kidnyshot? Rogues are one of the best classes atm.
Maybe just need to adapt to the new outlaw playstyle.
shit mobility? what? the hook dude! the slows and ranged kidnyshot? Rogues are one of the best classes atm.
nothing compares to a feral druid im rerolling from outlaw and sin , they are both trash squish with zero mobility!!
Oops i mean ima tauren druid does this matter in pvp will i still have good nuf dps?
Yeah, you'll be fine!
Hey thanks, also I need some improvements to my hotbar ima new player and I didnt want to lvl my acc to 100 so i boosted it therefor idk were to put my spells on my hot bar for feral druid this is what it looks like maybe you can help me out with that ?? link to screen shot of hotbar : prntscr.com/c7ngge
sudabdja,dj gasdajdk Keybinds are personal taste so not really something I can help with I'm afraid.
i do everything that u tell me to do but i lose like every duel, help :(
That's just a burst damage rotation. (P.S.- It helps to have good gear too ;) )
+Matthew Brown thanks so much for the reply, I'll try everything you said and let you know the results. thanks:D
Damage is high right now I have yet been in a situation where I needed to kite any one, they go down quick.
How are you getting 50k avrage and 80k crit from Brutal slash? im 410 pvp gear and for me its 50k avrage crit and the HP pool of people in pvp aint 360k its 540k
At the time of making this video health pools were 360k, they were buffed to 540k. Are you using BS with SR up?
No and nither are you in your video when explaining it. 4:05
Esben Nielsen When explaining rotations later in the video, I do say to keep Savage Roar up at all times.
Do you play on EU or US? :)
EU.
What is your highest rating as feral druid?(3v3 Pref) / O all
2680cr/3100mmr
hey qeustion does armour scale now?
cause my main is a boomy but if ill swap to feral will i do the same dmage whit int gear as whit agility gear?
or do i need to farm the agility gear also
I'm pretty sure it scales :).
First of all well done with the video,
Second i main Feral since BC and now when 7.0.3 hit i find him so low in dps as most agreed in my guild/chat.I have same build and 710ilvl and believe me i cant kill a single enemy now, before prepatch hit i was devouring anyone, now nothing..Do actually Ferals sucks in your opinion?
Hmm... This is strange. I am always top of damage in arena and in BGs.
I speak clearly after 7.0.3 pre-patch becuse before this patch i was too on top dps and i could easily kill 1v2 even. But now i (plus some guild members ferals) cant do much like we could before..
Snapshot your bleeds and use Brutal Slash wisely and you'll be top of the damage meters :).
ferals are op right now
I feel like feral will be great in pvp but lackluster in pve. My raid leader us asking me to re roll because of my aoe :(
I would argue that Wild Charge is by far the second best talent on that level.
If you have 4 set and moment of clarety talet you have full energy all the time it'op
Fyi blood talons increase the damage for you next two abilities by 40% not 50%
That's a tooltip error, it is 50%.
If it is not viable (due to other classes simply being better.), the only viable comp for it would be like FLS, maybe Jungle, both of which require sustained damage & CC spam ( this is where maim is really the highlighted ability. )
Without Moment of Clarity AND soul of the forest, every single 5 point combo has to be rotated between rip and savage roar due to the jagged wounds build.
But i like [Soul of the forest], [jagged wounds] and [bloodtalons] for the insane bleeds :(
If you want insane dots go for savage roar and aply rip and rake with bloodtalons up. Thats the maximum u can get with these two bleeds. For more, just aply thrash and switch targets.
Yeah but i felt like Soul of the forest gave me alot of sustain especially when im switching between 2 different targets
Picking talents which you are comfortable playing will likely result in more DPS than “the highest simming build”.
have to disagree with you on the 75 talents. in my opinion, Soul of the Forest is without a doubt the best one, but i think they are all viable
Dude, balance affinity is ridiculously good, it works on melee abilities as well. You clearly haven't tried it.
This class is fking op
What macros?
I will be doing a full guide when Legion is released going over everything, including macros :). I do have a macro guide on my channel from WoD that is still relevant to 7.0.3 though if you want to see that.
I prefer soul of the forest, savage roar finds more place in pve...
Nope savage Is a must always bro
dimi4807
You dont have time to use it in pvp. Rip, Bite for burst and Maim for cc
