I installed a 4gb/64gb head unit in my Thar yesterday and within 2 hours of getting it fitted I was back at the place I got it installed to get it removed.
What these morons are selling in the garb of a "premium head unit" is actually repackaged chinese crap. Most of the functions in the head unit don't work properly. For instance, android auto seems to have a mind of it's own. It works through the crappy zlink app a few times and most of the time the app simply says "zlink service unavailable". I spent 45 mins with hypersonic technical team, on whatsapp video call, and all they could do was to do a factory reset of the entire system (2 times). After that Android Auto worked once and then it did not work again. When I called hypesonic technical team again, they asked me to do a factory reset again. Everytime I need andriod auto to work, I need to do a bloody factory reset?? This is bullshit.
Other than android auto, basic things in the head unit don't work. Things like "Time" for instance. As this is repackaged Chinese bullshit, so the default time zone selected is "china", every time I try to change that to India, so the system shows our time, it goes back to China. What the f***???
Let's talk about playing media in the head unit, which is a basic function of a system like this... when playing any kind of track it doesn't show proper track info like title, album etc which a so called inferior unit from mahindra also does. From the head unit, I am not able to go forward to the next track or back to the previous track. Once again, Hypersonic's abysmal technical team says - do a factory reset of the f***ing system.
Hypersonic and "musafir aka joshi" should be ashamed of themselves about bringing such a inferior, crap of a product in the market.
A word of advice to all - DON'T USE HYPERSONIC HEAD UNIT IN YOUR VEHICLES. I can't say anything about their other products, they might be good. I haven't used them so can't comment. But the head unit, if you want piece of mind, then don't install it.

Poor service i have called them multiple times about the screen installation but not proper response what is the purpose of posting video and giving numbers to contact when they dont respond
