Hello from Uzbekistan, have you ever been of it? And about your job what can I say, yes it's a good job, your ASMR makes me sleepy and tha's the point of it. 👍👍👍😎😎😎
I once taught a guy from Uzbekistan English; he was a real beginner but I brought up Google maps and asked him to try to tell me as much as he could about where he was from. He would demonstrate things and I would teach him the English words. Turns out he had bought a fridge magnet with various photos of his home town, Bukhara, on, ready to give to whichever English teacher he had, and this is how I learnt about Bukhara 💚
I noticed those camels were Dromedaries - I expected to see Bactrian camels. Hmmmm... I first learned about Uzbekistan in my high school Russian class in the 1990s and I've wished to go there ever since. Two years ago I started trying to make bread according to their traditional style - the simpler round loaves with the thin centers. I think my bread tastes pretty good but it still doesn't look anywhere as good as even their simplest forms. I remember hearing a story about a ruler of Bukhara or Samarkand (in the middle ages?) who kept trying to make bread as good as that in another city: brought flour and water over but it never tasted quite the same. They said the air itself gave the bread its flavor. They really love their bread over there, and I hope one day to visit and try it. Meanwhile I'll keep working on my own homemade attempts, along with pilaf, which is delicious. I hope they can somehow stop the Aral Sea from disappearing!
Yay for Central Asia! I love learning about the often overlooked places like Uzbekistan. Lots of hidden treasures I'm sure. Wonder how you will tackle Russia. There's so much to say about that place
Liechtenstein is the other one! I know because I had to do a report in 6th grade on one country in the America's or Europe, because that's what we studied. I chose Liechtenstein because I wanted to be unqiue
