I feel like irl Chanel no 5 and BR540 are switched. One is a classic that isn't always appreciated and may seem fuddy duddy (like old money), and BR540 is a recent craze that everyone knows cost a pretty penny (like the logo mania associated with the nuevo riche).
@@he5rtsIt doesn't matter, many of the expensive ones are awful and smell cheap too. You can get some gorgeous cheaper perfumes that are much nicer than some of the more expensive brands. There are some great low cost dupes out there as well.
If you wanna smell like freshly out of the shower or generally smell good, I recommend Chanel Eau fraiche and Hermès un Jardin sur le nil. Trust me on these two
The green Chanel chance has been my fave perfume and almost the only perfume I’ve worn for the last 15 years. I need something new, does the Hermes smell similar? I do really only like fresh scents

I'm wearing Banana Republic Tobacco and Tonka Bean, which is like a dark, smoky, creamy unisex vanilla, not very sweet, with maybe a little bit of coconut and spice in the background.

That's me with Allure still have the same bottle since 2014. I use it every other year .since I had body mists and other perfumes at the time which was YSL opium. So I just used it in Christmas . The perfume now is expensive but I paid $80 at the time. Worth it .I would love to buy no. 5 the 1.6 bottle maybe.
I just hate perfumes. Like not just other people overdoing but even just a bit. I remember the first perfum i bought even the smallest amount made my nose itchy for the lack of words. I dont get why people but it or why some are so expensive.

The last one is my go-to perfume, it's called Valentino - Born in Roma (Donna) and it smells sweet, but not too sweet, if you know what I mean. It gives off very summery and floral vibes without going overboard, perfect in my opinion!

I own and like Chanel No. 5, however I'm 22 and feel it smells too powdery/soapy on me to be youthful. It's beautiful but too mature for me except for very special occasions. Instead, I use Elizabeth Arden "Sunflowers," and IMHO it's such a pretty summery scent! It's a tangy floral that has a slightly spicy, warm dry-down and overall smells really fresh and youthful. It smells like a sun-drenched field of sunflowers to me. Another classic I love is Calvin Klein CK One bc it's so unisex, aquatic and fresh. It's an "I just showered" scent. The dry-down is pleasantly musky and sandalwoody.
