Got damn! The album would’ve been crazy but I don’t think today it could work. But maybe back in the day? It would’ve been monumental but who know in the studio cause Wu had egos! I can honestly see Sean P and ODB wrecking in the studio 🤣
@@91Definite EPMD, GZA & Buckshot all on one track still could happen in 2022. That, or a Ghostface Killah, Reakwon, Keith Murray, K-Solo & Smif-N-Wessum (aka Coco Brovaz) collaboration

Wow, a tragic meltdown from some of our favorites. No doubt you guys all represented and brought that heat. Definitely kept MCS on their toes with the quality Hip Hop bars and beats.
I was the only one w the das efx tape in 6-7 grade and everyone made fun of me. Smif n wessun buckshot boot camp I loved that crap n everyone else hated it. It’s all that was on rap city and fab 5 Freddy n yo mtv raps. It’s all we had back them
It’s funny I really liked straight up sewaside. I think it’s the last hot album mostly because am a solid scheme fan. They did the whole album and I got used to that
I completely understand why he said he regrets not doing features with the guys he felt bit their style. He was justified because they all did!!! However, the mass majority of artists stole from KRS ONE! From Guru to Wu Tang to Eminem and he didn't trip. He knows he taught everyone how to rhyme, but wasn't salty about it. They know who taught them how to formulate a rhyme even though they didn't admit it! He maintained his relationships with them and capitalized off of them when necessary.
I remember Common saying Cube "went from gangsta to Islam to the dick of Das EFX" on "The Bitch in Yoo", when he did the exact same thing on his own first album. 😆
Wow bro, your remember lol.. I still felt him but he sounded like a combo of Das EFX and Biz when that first album dropped. One of many who had "Das EFX syndrome" 91-94..

One of my favorite DAS EFX songs is real hip hop because that beat was booming and their lyrics are tight. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
i personally liked their sound on the first 3 albums. actually, not liked.. loved. i understand a lot of his regrets regarding collabs, but as a fan, i liked that mysteriousness regarding an artist.

To me 'straight up sewaside' is a classic. Das Efx one of the greatest duos.

Great Crew I liked these guys if they could have All did an album together. EPMD, Redman, K-Solo, Das Efx, Keith Murray, Jamal, Nocturnal.
Awesome. Thank you so much for the interview. Really appreciated. Much love and well wishes to Das EFX. Jussamen that's on the mic.

He done a solo album “Showtime” which was in 2012. It was an okay album although it wasn’t production from producers like Pete rock or DJ Premier

DAS stood for the names of the members
Dray And Scoob, while EFX simply meant Effects. That's it.
