      That's how they pronounce those -cester names in the UK. Like Leicester, it's pronounced Les-Ter.

      I realized it's not "wor-ces-ter" it's "worce-ster." If you say it fast enough it becomes wuster. Makes sense once you think about it

      British dialect? There are multiple British dialects. British is a nationality. And there are many different pronunciations between these dialects.

      ​@@NapoleonBonerfartsBritish dialects differ majorly, someone from Liverpool or Scotland sounds completely different than someone from Dorset or Essex. Plus people from Worcestershire pronounce it as "wuster-sheer" its only the South of England that says "shur"

    Where I live in the west country we typically pronounce the or in Worcester so instead of wuster we say worster

    Most people in the uk (at least in the north) don’t even say the shire either ….. it’s just “wuster sauce” 👍 With or without its certainly better than “wash your sister sauce” 😂

    Lived in Worcester MA and have heard it pronounced in the oddest ways..Worcestershire sauce is always in both my refrigerator and another bottle in the pantry
