Not just my favourite Japanese band: my favourite band totally. Two albums out they have not yet released a weak song. They mix languages and genres frequently. Both their guitarists are killer shredders. Saki was in Mary's Blood, and Hazuki also plays with Li-sa-X. The singer, Mayu, despite having an excellent singing voice, is actually most comfortable doing scream vocals. She mixes both in many of their songs. They are one of the heaviest bands around while simultaneously being one of the most melodic. Crushing riffs and melodies that are so full of hooks they're almost pop.

They are a supergroup composed of: ex-Mary's Blood guitarist Saki ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X) ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and ex-Soramimi drummer Murata Tamu They is one of the bands to watch, no question. They just started in 2019 and are blowing up fast. They almost seem to be enjoying a private joke, that goes "Hi, we're a bunch of cute, fun girls and we are going to rip your face off, and you are going to like it.” Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized by Mayu with some help from Saki, largely to keep busy in the early days of the pandemic. They started by posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Nemophila is a band formed by musicians from different bands. They are all excellent musicians. They can do whatever genre they want, mayu has a rich voice to sing many kinds of music, and they do many different styles in their music. I recommend《adabana》as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
Nemophila is especially crunchy because both guitarist Hazuki (blue guitar) and Saki (dark guitar) run 7 strings and Haraguchi-San runs a 5 string bass. Add to that the thunder of Tamu on drums and the dynamic Mayu singing and you got jus a hell of a band. As for men in J-Metal Dir En Grey, Ninjen Isu and Crystal Lake are all top notch. Unlucky Morpheus is an integrated band and also incredible (Black Pentagram live).
Welcome fellow brit To the mighty Nemophila ,Talent off the charts and some ,there are no week links with this lot i have followed them from the start back in 2019 and Rise is the newest track ,very appropriate as they are indeed rising right to the top .2 full albums in and all bangers not all like Rise but all superb nether the less .Go to there You Tube where you can find every thing from cool covers to kick ass originals .On top of the talent there all very funny as well, just on there first proper tour of the US lets hope UK is next as there fantastic live .

Big nemo fan, was surprised to see you catch this one. They have a ton of REALLY fun covers on their RUclips from when they started out. Their covers of (male) Maximum the Hormone, a metal band many of these Japanese groups draw inspiration from, are especially good in my opinion. For originals I'd say Style is my favorite
So much to discover with Nemophila…. But every Lovebites song is fully in English. Nemo switch English and Japanese as the song needs. Great guitar duo with Saki and Hazuki 🎸
Not a bad comeback after just having a baby (the singer) drummer has two babies as well. Check out the band DIH. try their song BREAKOUT. Also what appears to be a new band HADES . BRIDEAR also have a new song. You'll need more wine.
You should do a dual reaction to Maximum the Hormone Zetsubo Billy and the Nemophila cover, or the other song they covered, Shimi. Hard to go wrong with a nemo cover regardless
