Suzy absolutely savage during that city street match. 🤣 So darn cheeky! That police officer's definitely a midwesterner - I was half expecting him to say, "don't cha know?" He's one of my favorite random characters. And so out of place too, like he's totally more small-town vibe. xD Being in the city all like, "Ohoooo nellie!"
I just love how much you liked Sino's character. The last reactor I watched absolutely hated her for no apparent reason. Sino would say just one word and the person would be: "UGH! SHUT UP! I'M TIRED OF YOU!" I'm glad that you have a more leveled head in comparison. ^^
@@gurvmlk I honestly have no idea and neither did the reactor. From what I recall, the reactor had said that they didn't know what it was about her that she didn't like but she just didn't like Sino.
I really liked the revelations in this story arc in the manga. Goku sort of thought that the city the tournament was held at was the biggest in the world. It made sense to him, because that's where the tournament is at, and fighting is so important to him that he thinks that fighting is important to everyone; so that a good sampling of all the people of earth MUST be found in that city during the tournament! Lots of times when young Goku found strong opponents--like the Terminator robot--he wondered why he didn't see them at the tournament! West City was just astounding to Goku as you can see, because it just was beyond his imagining. But considering that he never met hardly anyone but his grandpa before starting his adventures, it's natural that he'd have a limited sense of things. What blows my mind is that Dragonball started in the '80's, but there are all these futuristic vehicles and buildings, sometimes alongside conventional, or even ancient, designs. Oh, and as you've noticed in several episodes--dinosaurs! There's a LOT of anachronisms in dragonball; decades or even centuries in the past there was industrial technology. Bulma being important? Well, think about all the things that were in the capsules she's used. Several vehicles, and a not so small, fully furnished house; Bulma's a teen girl, so she's got access to the good stuff! She's smart alright, she invented the dragon-radar.
capsule corp in dragon ball's world is the company that makes capsules that have cars and planes or even houses and bulma's father is the head of the company (bulma's father is Elon Musk of the dragon ball's world)
Yep, Bulma is Paris Hilton as an engineering genius. Disclaimer: I don't know Paris Hilton. I saw that South Park episode that was quite mean to her, I stayed in one of her family's hotels once (and they didn't have our room ready when we got there so we got a free meal, except for anything less than a Goku-class stomach that plate of spaghetti qualified as at least 2.5 meals). So my interpretation of Paris Hilton's character might be a bit unfair.
Man, rewatching Dragon Ball after having seen Z and Super is a whole different experience... That street fighter challenging a [spoiler from Z] to a fight, he had no chance even if Goku had zero training in martial arts lol I did not remember many of these episodes, thanks Suzi!
One of the best things about early dragon Ball is watching people underestimate Goku while you know that he can the defeat almost anyone with one punch
@isaacmaurice227 i love Fillers . Filers make what is already good even better , in my opinion . Fillers develop more the characters , build more the world and bring us new fun adventures and new fun characters . in my opinion
Eighter is one of the top beloved Characters that Goku came across in his life...Eighter is sprinkled in Dragon Ball Z and Non-Cannon Dragon Ball GT...i just hope that Eighter is going to be brought back in the latter half of the next installment of Dragon Ball Super journey. 🤔🤔
There is a Dragon Ball movie called "The Path to Power" that retells the story up to Muscle Tower. But, it includes something spoilery from Dragon Ball Z and not everyone likes the differences. The animation quality did improve quite a bit since it was made in the 90s. I think you might want to check it out eventually.
Bulma's father is highly intelligent and he's the one who invented the capsules to transport anything you want. So yes Bulma has access to better tech but she's also very smart and built the dragon radar herself.
Fyi, despite Bulma's attitude and personality, she is very smart when it comes to technology in the Dragon Ball series. Capsule Corporation is actually the company behind the capsule technology that allows objects to shrink to capsule size.
Unfortunately, now comes quite a few episodes I'm not personally a big fan of and I consider the weakest in DB. But once those are done, my god, the show REALLY ramps up on how good it gets.
Suzy hi! A robot is just a machine, But an androide is a human with parts of machine inside, as a mix between human and a machine. (In Dragon ball Z Androids getting older.)
Edit: Removed some statements which I carefully crafted yet are still considered a level of spoiler. Bulma is one of the few characters in this universe I'd be delighted if it had its own spinoff for a short series, like the prequel how she went from learning about the dragon balls until she met Goku for the first time, or other eras of the universe. She is a great character on her own.
@@SwiftJustice Thanks, I will use it when needed. I dont think I was spoling anything but I still decided to remove the already vague statements I did in case it could be considered spoiling.
Bulma is like the Tony stark of this universe she's super smart and super rich
@@mikemath9508 this is why Bulma is like Tony Stark. Her father would be like Howard Stark who started the corporation.
Sooo Bulma’s family is actually the richest in the world of DragonBall.
Dr. Briefs is eventually Bill Gates.
Fuck yes
Goku exploring the city is adorable :D
The wolf taxi scene killed me. The way he just calls goku a jerk and just sped off on him 😂

I love this episode because Goku is like me when I first arrived to the US when I was 5yrs old. 💗

6:36-6:48 I've always loved this long call to the nimbus that goku gave,it sounds cool.
I just recently re-read this part of the manga, and I was wrong about this being filler. It's not filler, but there are some additional scenes.
Goku coming to West City for the first time is so fun

About the Nimbus :)
