A nice tip for when you fish around rocks or areas where your line can get cut or frayed is to get at least 25 to 30 pound fluorocarbon leader I use the kast king brand and it works for me when targeting sheepshead around pilings or rocks

that’s pretty thick fluorocarbon! 😳
20lb works well for me, changing your leader is just part of it.
