Middle class women of a certain age who have the status to be in celebrity master chef are the only women who have enough status, power and life experience to be ABLE to speak out. The 20 year old intern won`t say anything for fear of loosing the opportunity to work in TV ever again.

On his factory show, Greg had such an unwarranted, bitter attack on an Asian man, it left him speechless. It stank of racism and his East End white greengrocer background at that age does associate with that. I did spend a lot of years in that Essex /East London region so I amy be attuned to that attitude and was very pleased to get right away from it. Nobody picked him up on that. Maybe I should have attempted it, but the BBC need a lot of complaints before they take anything seriously. Anyway, for my money Greg is poison.

Since when was being rude, intimidating, crass, sexist, ageist, and a bully, the sign of masculinity?
It’s a sign of weakness surly?
Feeling the need to leverage your power as ‘the talent’ like this shows a weakness of character and fundamental lack of confidence.
His role as ‘the voice of the ordinary bloke’ among all the culinary experts and award winning chefs, gives him angst over his inadequacy.
    It’s easy isn’t it?
    Simply apply the ‘do-as-you-would-be-done-by’ rule.
How happy would he be if a man behaved like this to his daughter? Or his young wife? He’d be wanting to swing for them wouldn’t he?

Everyone is fed up of this type of behaviour, women don't like it and men don't either. If I were a bloke I'd be relieved that to some extent and in some work environments, I no longer had to play up to this type of juvenile conduct. I'm sure most men despite this type of bloke as much as their female colleagues do.

There were gangs of older women making comments about having a 'younger man' around and he told me it made him uncomfortable, and this was almost 25 years ago. Just saying, it can work both ways. I used to think “not all men”, but 60 years on the planet has taught me that it kind of is!
Not all men behave like this, but of the ones who don’t very very few will actually speak out when they witness such behaviour. And in not speaking out they are complicit.
I can count on one hand the number of men I know who actually would speak out, and that’s from the hundreds of men I’ve known, worked with, and/or had friendships with. It’s very disappointing.

Ever had a female boss come onto you, and felt powerless to do anything because no one would either believe you, or you've been threatened with losing hours, your job or they'll claim you harrassed them? I have. No difference, except society and the law will back her and laugh at me/you without question (literally).
Plenty of men get sexually harrassed at work. A lot of women aren't as weak or powerless as they would have you believe. The ones in power are there for a reason, and it's not because they're weak and defenseless.

The power relationships between men such as Trump, Putin, Musk, Epstine and women is clearly unequal, yes. However, most men are being judged upon such power inequalities when they don’t possess the same power as Trump, Putin, Tate, Musk, etc.. In fact, many men might be quite powerless. We are having our “masculines” challenged as punishment for power we do not possess or exercise over women. Most men are sick of being punished for things powerful men do to or say about women. Don’t assume all men possess the same level of power over women. Don’t assume that women don’t have power over men too.
