Love the way you people run your company!! A good sense of humour goes along way. The detail and quality of your products are truly amazing! I would give you a 10/10 if all your products were actually made in Canada though, but I’m giving you an 8.5/10 🙂
Thanks for your kind words! We would love to make the models here, but unfortunately they would then be too expensive for all but the wealthiest people to purchase.
Please allow me my moment on the soapbox. I hope you guys realize how lucky you are to be in a hobby where manufacturers can affordably cater to such esoteric interests as cab, louver and handrail variations. And these on a particular loco that I think must have limited appeal. Kind of ironic, considering the scratch-built roots the hobby has grown from. Other hobbies with larger audiences are fed by makers with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude with regard to product design. Thank you. I'll step down now.
Thank you! As for cost, there are numerous people involved on any given project who need to get paid. We now have over 20 full-time employees in three countries, not including those working at the various factories in China. Then there's the cost of tooling and manufacturing. The higher the level of detail, the more costs go up!
I managed to pick up one of these beauties brand new. However, the bell sound from my CN unit is different than the one in the video. Mine is much slower, while the CN in the video plays it much faster and nicer. The manual doesn’t say anything about a different bell. Is it possible to change it in CV?

Joels Train ; Because CN & CP,Essex Railway & Via Rail are the best :-) I remember as a kid in my hometown of St.Marys,Ontario,Canada i use to get rides in a old CP engine like one in this video.
They look awesome guys. The only issue for me is that they sound really high pitched and tinny. I know you can't fit a Tang Band speaker in there, but there should be some cube speakers that would offer greater bass response. Now I just need to figure out how many to order :)
They were filmed in what is, to all intents and purposes, a warehouse. The acoustics were terrible. You can even hear the echo in my voice. Go have a listen to one of our GMD-1s. Nice and throaty. These will sound the same. -Jason
The CP van is a Rapido model from 2010. We're sold out, but they show up on eBay and in shops on occasion. The CN van is an Overland brass model, long out of production.
Which road number in the CP scheme come wth ditch lights. Also do any of the CN paint jobs come wth ditch lights. And finally doany of the CP script are block maroon and grey scheme come with ditch lights
Meanwhile in philly we’re waiting for you guys to include septa I liked the comet cars but could we get mass transit. You guys are missing out on big money. Septa has tons of fans that would generate currency for you guys. Please listen your customers knows best.

Excellent demonstration. Like all the details. 8143 SW CP Rail & CN. 🇨🇦
• Cheers from The Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
Fact: the real 8143 was rebuilt in 1985 as a SW1200RSu and renumbered 1273 and was sadly scrapped for parts at Larry's Truck & Electric in 2004 :(

your going for the older paint versions too, aren't you ?
Is the CN loco available in N scale (with same "HO" characteristics and detail)??
Unfortunately we haven't done the SW1200RS in N scale yet.

The CP van is a Rapido model from 2010. We're sold out, but they show up on eBay and in shops on occasion. The CN van is an Overland brass model, long out of production.
Where in Canada might I find one of these?
They're hard to find now, but there's a chance of another run at some point!
Canadian Pacific Railway unit 8143 and Canadian National Railway unit 1366 working the yards.
Beauty!
Sadly the real 8143 was scrapped for parts in 2004 :(

Does the CN North america version have ditchlights?
No. CN's original SW1200RS locomotive did not receive ditch lights.
Great Work! You guys should make the Central Vermont (CV) SW1200
It's planned.
Then ill defenetly buy it :)
I like Jordan Smith.
CP's front stanchions are a bit leany
This was a preproduction custom painted pilot model.
I would like to buy two painted in icg orange chocolate and white
Since you forgot to put people in the cab, I would think there's no reason for a working fridge.

Delayed? We only announced it last June. From announcement to delivery is only nine months - a record for us.
