Oh c'mon guys and gals, stop trying to promote Caracas in so many ways, even in a video about Dominican Republic! It's a crowded big city in a country full of problems! Try promoting any place about Venezuela after 5 or 10 yrs if things have gotten significantly better. cheers.
Is there a physical presence requirement for the fast track (real estate) to permanent residency? If so, what is it (how long would someone be required to spend "in country"?)
No. If you have a boatload of money and can pass due diligence you can get a residence permit, but unless you're married you're looking at about a decade
What if we are Digital nomads with no current residency anywhere and have not been back to our home country for 7 years ? Would we have to return to our country and apply there ?
Yes, but not Malaysia. I'm from Israel and their government is unfriendly. I'm considering Cyprus. I'm going in August and see how it goes. I've also considered Uruguay, maybe I'll try that next.
Nice Caribbean weather?? RUclipsrs always say this when they know perfectly well that Caribbean climate has very high heat and humidity for much of the year, just as bad as Miami, Houston or New Orleans.
@@8d4o0c4 nah bro I know the country well. You can get a residence sure, but unless you're building an entire life nobody is going to give citizenship out. And there's a lot of Haitian people in front of you in line. Small population countries are mindful of these things
@@HippiePajon If DR puts everybody in the same line, and views every application with the same weight, then they are probably the ONLY country in the world to do so.

Very affordable options to become resident or even citizen in DR. Thank you for the detailed information!
Fantastic option if you’re looking for a Caribbean passport 🎉
Beautiful country and also full of opportunities!
I didn’t know there were so many different options in the Dominican Republic to become a citizen. Thanks for the insight!😊
Dominican Republic seems like a great option for a second passport!
Wow this information is very helpful!
