Good morning Sam! With the Wilcox RAID-Xe (low power) out now, would you choose it or the eye-safe MAWL given the two options?
Semi-related…How difficult is it to activate the switches after a shoulder transition with the MAWL?

If you have regular to small hands (me), it is hard to activate MAWL if you switch shoulders and hand placement. Work arounds include 1) tape switch 2) go to constant on then deactivate once done 3) switch shoulders but not hands. I prefer to use #3 indoors/more dynamic, and #2 for longer range shots.

@@yzhou05there’s a 4th technique I teach MaWL owners at classes who need to shoulder switch that allows switching and light activation, it’s not that difficult of a premise

I wonder just for thinking sake, which way should the dominant eye be focused, up close or infinity? I guess maybe wouldn’t matter since it takes time to get your brain adjusted to this

Because I run an ECOTI, I run non dominant set to infinity, and dominant set to close focus, there are pros and cons to this, it hampers my ability to shoot passive to an extent because I'd prefer it the other way, but because of the ECOTI, I am kind of pigeonholed into a corner.
