Sunmi pulls off the Cat Woman concept so well, I was so surprised to see the scenes mirroring Batman Returns having watched the movie earlier this year.
@@jomakwee Batman Returns (1992) catwoman was Michelle Pfeiffer. The scene where she gets pushed out of the window and gets revived by cats were the scenes we see in Tail.
About the choreography parts they do live, the chair part was changed to music shows (which was kinda predictable) and we could only see the full version on the studio choom video, but for the other parts of the choreo she does it all haha

I absolutely love all the moves that symbolize a "tail", like at 4:09, 4:44 and the end. It's just so creative! Sunmi has such unique and interesting moves in her choreographies, I absolutely love them. Some of them seem odd, out of place, unfitting, and yet.. they fit her so perfectly.
im not sure how accurate this is but i saw someone mention that she contacted/requested to work with Janelle Guinstra, the choreographer of seulgi and irene's monster, and asked her to help her incorporate those feline/animal-like movements into the choreography!

Love Kevin’s point about how the instrumental sounds dangerous, I think the vocals kind of balance it out with how Sunni sounds teasing or seductive but there are all these unsettling elements mixed in.

Tail is very reminiscent of sunmis old songs like full moon and 24 hrs so it was awesome to see umu immediately find that parallel!!! Loved the reaction so much tail is such a great song

Haha, it's funny because there are exactly TWO songs I know from Sunmi (and absolutely love of course), I listened to Tail recently, and when Umu started humming, I was like "YES ! 24 HOURS !! THAT'S EXACTLY WHY I IMMEDIATELY LOVED TAIL ! It's basivally 24 Hours The Sequel and that's the only other song from Sunmi I know !" xD And like to me, *that's* the sound of Sunmi, that's the style I love. I don't know a lot about music/musicality (besides the stuff I learned from watching your channel), but there's something very catchy about most of Sunmi's songs. She has this very recognizable sound, yet her songs don't sound too similar.
After seeing a reaction to Sunmi, I really want to see a reaction to "CHUNG HA 청하 'Gotta Go (벌써 12시)", even though it was from 2019. I also recently am hooked with the song, "Merry Go Round" by Sokodomo ft. Zion T., Wonstein which was more released through a hip hop music program called "Show Me The Money" I believe (I'm not sure because I don't watch it). But I also hope to see a reaction of it.
