Really cool man,I dig how the video was cut!!
No talking let's you think for yourself!
THNKXZ BUNCHES for the best video clip I seen today , I miss all my native friends out west mainly in Arizona and California
Amazing video! I live in the Verde Valley and love the sacred places in your video.
John, thanks for watching. There are a lot of awesome ancient sites in that area........alex
storiesbyalex Thanks! I've been here in the Verde Valley for 2 years and still haven't even scratched the surface with all the sites here.
Hello Alex, the petroglyphs are a solstice calendar and have great new discovery regarding this site. I hope all is well with you and that you may return to this spot for a new video best regards
Looks real nice. Hope to one day visit n travel those valleys.
Added to bucket list!
Its an easy place to get to......alex
Sometimes there is a slow internet connection. Best thing to do is to start the video and then hit the pause button and let it stay on pause for 5 - 10 minutes. While on pause the video should be downloading in the background. After the time has passed hit the play/pause button and the video should run free of any download interruptions.
storiesbyalex what is the coolest thing you've seen / found in your Ancient Puebloean travels?
Have you read 'House Of Rain' by G Childs ? OMG SOO GOOOD ! you won't put it dwn! Its about a lot of unknown sites,40' roads connecting the sites, and the newer theory's coming into prominence as far as what happened.. I'm always in awe of what could have scared the People so badly as to have them move their young and old into such defensive , precarious , strenuous, positions! 5' W ledges with 300' drops! I think it was the Aztec Toltecs ,thinking easy pickin's after trading for yrs w/ Chacoan's& bringing their Human Sacrifice & cannabalism north with them!
Thnx for great Vids!
Hi storiesbyalex great job on your videos! I see that you cover mostly California,Arizona, and Utah! Have you ever thought about New Mexico and Texas?
15:45 What you don't see are dinosaurs or horses or buffalo on the walls
These inscriptions on the same stones here in my country, and even our grandmothers in the old days put such inscriptions some as tattoos
The first song had me bobbin my head 😂
Enjoyed this very much!
Gives rise to countless questions. (Does anyone have accurate knowledge of the various petroglyphs?)
Thank you for sharing.
Best regards

Superb vid TY so much
These inscriptions on the same stones here in my country, and even our grandmothers in the old days put such inscriptions some as tattoos!!!
ibrahim, thanks for watching and your comment. My observation is that people often forget that in some way or another we are all connected.....................alex
@@storiesbyalex
I don't live in America or Europe
I only follow your videos today because I was looking for something and I found it
@@storiesbyalex Those inscriptions and some letters are here on the rocks and even our grandmothers put some tattoos like this + and others!!!!
@@storiesbyalex
There in America these letters and inscriptions are especially those who were called by Columbus the name of the Red Indians
@@storiesbyalex For this reason, it is easy to know to whom the Red Indians are affiliated, because they are my cousins, meaning from one grandfather.
Alex can you explain why some glyphs are burnt orange/red and some are black and others are white that looks like chalk?
Alex. Do you ever see snakes while out in the mountains and deserts?
Hello Elwood, thanks for watching the video and your query. For the most part I have not had any close or dangerous encounters. My general observations is that snakes try to avoid human contact as much as we try to avoid snakes. The danger usually occurs when either the snake or human is unaware of the others presence and intrudes into the others space..............................alex
How can I find these sites in Verde Valley??
Many of these sites can be found through internet searches by using key words such as, "verde valley petroglyphs".......alex
Hi Alex I’m not sure how to leave you a picture or tell you about a sight that I know you would want to see I would love for a video to be done by you on this place it’s on private land so it it’s very unknown
If there’s a way I could send you a few pictures! I know that you would be intrigued
Troy, thanks for watching the video and your comment. You can send your information to me to my eamail address at: alex@storiesbyalex.com
Is swimming allowed in Montezumas well?
Kieth, thanks for watching the series. Swimming was not allowed when I was there several years ago..........alex
Back in the 1980's we were allowed to swim in Beaver creek. We walked up it in the water. It was quite refreshing. We went on a day trip and ended up spending the night in a motel room in Flagstaff. I had to hand wash the kids clothes in the sink because swimming and exploring Beaver creek got them quite mud stained. We went out to dinner and then we went to a movie theater that night before retiring to our motel room.
Once again another group of tribes gone BEFORE Spanish came. No trace. So many gone without a name or a story or bloodline.
Is this part of a national park or reservation? If not it should be.
Great Job...it almost seems like they might have been given knowledge by highly intelligent beings probably from the stars:)
Thanks for watching...you might be right......alex
Shane Lara .... no
It must have been a constant struggle to stay alive😢🇳🇱🇪🇺
