    Did you ever find a lockable fuel cap Mick? Could you spray a stone chip sealer onto the yellow one, as a substitute?
    Beautiful area down there... Great memories

      I am being told that there should be a cap available at Super Cheap Auto but I haven't located one yet. I am a bit like you, spray it with the correct undercoat for plastic and hit it a black paint. I am not using it while it is yellow so a paint trial gives me nothing to lose.

    What a lovely tour. Many years since Ive been to Victor Harbour. Do they still do the penguins on the Island? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both and looking forward to seeing how the flood waters look when they reach the mouth. Thanks for a great years entertainment cheers Cheryl 🎅🎄🎁

      They still do penguins but I think they are under threat, don't quote me on that. There were certainly more of them years ago when we used to go out there walking.

    Another great video Mick & Sally.
    What tyre pressures did you air down to before driving on the beach?
    Im interested in the those " trays" that you have your
    lunch in
    Where can you get them?
    Merry Christmas anda happy new year

    • @justcruisinwithmicksally837
      @justcruisinwithmicksally837  Год назад +1

      I would normally air down to around the 20psi mark and go from there.
      Out lunch trays were purchased from a camping store in Broome when we were there in 2004. That doesn't really help you to get any, sorry🤔🤔
      Merry Christmas to you and all the best for the New Year.

    I noticed you mentioned no issues with the permanents at the caravan park. This intrigued me, have you experienced problems in some places and, if so, what sort of thing? I would have thought they were a harmless lot with problems arising mostly as a result of short term visitors esp. on weekends. I've experienced some truly awful behaviour from visitors e.g. boozing, yelling, loud music etc.

    • @justcruisinwithmicksally837
      @justcruisinwithmicksally837  Год назад

      It was an off the cuff comment that I possible should have removed to be honest. We had a bad experience in Exmouth W.A. many years ago that left an bad taste in our mouth, something that will always remain with us,
